I had a 2001 Jamis Comet. But crashed it, so 6 months ago I had those better components put on this excellent aluminum frame by The Bike Rack in northwest Washington, DC. The bike was rebuilt and tuned perfectly. So I have not had any reason to get back to The Bike Rack for any adjustments. If you go to the bikepedia website. You can see these two bikes in the bike ... moresection: see frame by choosing 2004: Specialized: Allez Elite Double(I'm not 100% sure this is the frame. But I was told the frame is 2004 or 2005) see components by choosing 2001: Jamis: Comet I assume it will take 3-5 days to get a shop to pack the bike. But if it will take longer, I will try to figure out how to get a bike shipping box and do it myself.
