Original Briggs& Stratton 5 h.p engine failed. Needed rebuilt. I found 3 Hondas on Craigslist owned and sold to me by a masonry contractor who routinely replaces each motor on every mixer every winter in Cincinnati, OH to keep from troubles during any job during busy work season. Sells them for $400. used each. I bought the Honda engines 8h.p/ 11 h.p/ 11 h.p and had each one serviced locally and running. Have receipt of service identifying what was needed. All have good compression. New plugs, coil, oil, cleaned filters, cleaned carbs and filters, nothing major was wrong with any one. Have filter covers not shown when images taken. One engine could use a new exhaust muffler. Was going to install the smaller Honda engine. Keep or sell the bigger ones. Gear reductions all 3 work engines nice and no loose gears.
