Vintage 1980 Peavey T-40 bass Red finish Rare Rosewood fretboard original case
Up for auction is a vintage 1980 Peavey T-40 electric bass that was made in the USA. This has a red finish. Maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The neck is straight, the action is fabulous and has no fretwear. Has blade pickups, two volume controls, two tone(blend from single coil to humbucker) a three-way selector, and a Phase switch. All function perfectly. The sound is fantastic. Weighs in at 11.2 lbs. The body and neck have the usual tiny dings. Chips and buckle rash that you would expect from a 43 year old player, but nothing serious and the red finish is very attractive. Somewhere along the way someone did a bathtub route and drilled a hole in the pickguard for a switch(see photo) I have no idea what was in there. Up for auction is an Embury lantern measuring 8” tall. 7 ¼” diameter at base. It is marked“Embury Manufacturing Co. No. 40 Traffic Gard, Warsaw, New York, U.S.A.The lantern is dirty and scratches but there are no cracks, breaks or repairs. The finish appears original. This lantern has an unusual round wick, and the adjuster works well. The globe has 2 cracks and is outstanding shade of ruby red. The globe is marked"NO 40 FRESNEL EMBURY MFG CO. WARSAW N.Y. EVERSHARP SKYLINE , DUBONNET RED , LF, GFT, 5-1/4," '40'S ERA
This listing is for an EVERSHARP SKYLINE pen from the mid'40's. This pen is 5-1/4" long in a dark Dubonnet Red. The lever is frozen due to a hardened sac. So a new sac will be required and there is always the possibility of a J-bar being needed as well. The trim is gold filled and has not been polished at all. It appears in good condition except for the usual tiny area along the ridge line of the lever which has wear and some brassing due to frequent posting of the cap. There is also a very minor dent in the plastic barrel above the lever. The clip has standard EVERSHARP SKYLINE markings on the front and on the clip retaining ring. There are no other visible external flaws. Section and feed are good. The nib is a standard Skyline 14kt EVERSHARP. It looks like a medium width and is in excellent condition. Prior to bidding. This pretty vintage kitchen towel has been in my collection for many years. I am now down-sizing and am offering it for your consideration. It is in very good used condition. I only used it on display with my vintage kitchen items. I did not use it as a dish towel. It measures 37" x 14-1/2" Could also be used as a table runner. It doesn't have any holes or worn spots.
