A body suit style bodice and a skirt, both parts have the original size tags stating it's a size 5. The body suit bodice features floral design lace sleeves and body with a pink sateen type material beneath the body section and is made to snap between the legs. The skirt is made of matching black floral print lace and pink sateen. The skirt is designed to be worn open at the front as shown in our first photo both above and below. vintage Bicolor Wedding Gown with Train, Hat & Veil
This is a bi-colored A-line cage wedding dress purchased from the house of Galina in 1968 direct from the factory so there is no label of authenticity. The dress was a size 8 altered to about a size 7. The measurements are as follows: Sleeves are 22.5 inches in length. From the top of the shoulder the dress is 56 inches long, the chest is 16 inches across from seam to seam, it is 15.5 inches across the back, the hips are 19 inches across and the waist is 15.5 inches across. There is no give to this dress. It is 2 types of colored lace sewn on a cage of tulle which covers an under dress of crepe sewn to a layer of rayon acetate. There are 3 layers of material with buckram sewn into the hem to give the dress it's wonderful A-line shape. Overall the dress and underlayers are white with white and light beige lace sewn onto the top layer of ... moretulle. There is a hook closure in the back which attaches to a thread loop at the top of the neckline. There is a series of 7 snaps down the back of the dress. The train originally attached with hooks and eyes to the back of the dress. The train has the hooks but the eyes need replacement. The train is a monarch style train similar to that worn by Princess Diana at her wedding. It measures 62.5 inches long and it is tulle sewn over a lined acetate taffeta layer. There is a repeating pattern of lace at the top and bottom which coordinates with the dress, hat and veil. It attached to the back of the dress by hooks looping into the lace flowers. The hooks are on the train. It can be bustled as there are 2 elastic attachments on the bottom of the train for that purpose. It is a tufted bustle type which creates a layered, tufted look if you wish. The matching veil also has the lace at the point of attachment to the hat. The veil was attached to the top of the hat with several stitches which were removed for convenience. The veil is an 88 inch chapel length veil with a second layer blusher veil attached by the lace. She said it was from the 60s, probably late 60s. The material looks like soft netting to me; however, she said it's called sheer tulle. It has double material in the sleeves with the underneath shorter which makes the outside layer extend loosely down over the top inch of the cuffs which are fitted with four pearl-like buttons. The neck has buttons down the Victorian front with a short cape around the top of the dress. The lace is woven into the material and there are small woven dots. The veil is a much lighter netting with a crown of flowers and a small comb to attach it to the head. Some of the flowers are bent from being packed and need to be pressed. The dress is full length. Measuring 49" down the side seam. The dress is fashioned of ivory lace accented with thin satin ribbon and a Venetian lace around the neckline, a modified Mandarin. There are ties at the side that you can fashion any way you wish and the middle of the front bodice has a tie that appears to lace up the front of the gown but it just ties and there are no lace up features in the gown. Vintage Alfred Angelo Tulle Prom Party Gown
PRICE REDUCED*DONT LET THIS GET AWAY* This is the perfect gown for that upcoming Valentines Day dance. You will feel like a princess in this one shoulder Vintage Alfred Angelo tulle gown. And being a vintage gown I'm sure there won't be anyone else wearing YOUR gown at the dance! It has a satin underskirt with 2 layers of tulle. Red heart appliques are sprinkled over the top layer of white tulle edged with red piping. The red satin waist band and bow looks to be a brighter red in my pictures but it is a true red. Being a vintage gown there are a couple of condition issues that I must point out. It had a slight tear on the bottom ruffle on the side. That has been repaired. There is so much fabric that it is almost impossible to see even when looking for it. Also some slight soiling on the underlying satin layer hem, again hardly noticeable ... morewith the layers of fabric. This gown is truly a one of a kind and comes from a smoke free home. Gown length from top of shoulder is 55 1/2" Bust measures 17" from armpit to armpit waist measures 14" across front. Zipper measures 16" Structurally this dress is in very nice condition but the satin has some staining possibly from age. Aslo being an older piece it has a musty odor. Such an elegant gown! In all my years of searching this is probably one of the most unique 70's gown that I have found. It's made of a soft cotton/polyester blend. Has lovely banded empire waist with three covered buttons in the front. Scoop neckline, long sleeves, chapel train, fully lined, zip closure/ hook&eye at neck. So simple and lovely. It would make the perfect Fall/Winter wedding gown. the model wearing the dress said that it was extremely comfortable to wear! Size S/M(The fabric has some stretch to it) Bust- 35" Waist- 27" Length- 57" Model pictured is 5' 6.5" Nearly perfect vintage condition. I don't think it was ever worn before.

VINTAGE 1960's/60's: M, Baby Blue Sheer Flutter Cape Sleeve Maxi Dress Gown
Be the undisputed center of attention at the next gala in this genuine vintage angelic winged hostess/cocktail dress. Circa late 1960's or early 1970's(maker unknown) Features original ILGWU Union label still attached, a sleeveless baby blue column-style goddess underdress, a squarish-scoopish-V-neckline with detailed cream colored crocheted floral lace applique trim that extends down the front to a banded empire waist, an open upper back, zipper back closure(in perfect working condition) with two hook and eye closure around the neck of the cape, a fitted tank-style chiffon-covered bodice with gathering at bottom of bust(along the waist band) a delicately sweeping oversized sheer chiffon cape/wings(that is tacked/attached at the front waist, is split in the back, and drapes over the shoulders and trails down all the way to the hem) ... moreand a full sweeping maxi-length flared goddess skirt with chiffon overlay. The fabric of the nicely fluid body of the dress is a crisp solid baby blue taffeta/acetate-like material with a nice polished finish.and the dramatic cape is a flowing sheer chiffon-like fabric with an organza-feel, in a pale blue.with a grand sweep! The flow and movement of this dress is simply enchanting! The only label attached states care instructions and tagged size is a size 14. Per measurements, estimated modern size is a women's size M. For reference, the model typically wears a M. This is, however, just a suggestion, so do please refer to the measurements listed below. There is discoloration under both arms(stained a pale pink color) that is unnoticeable due to the caped cover. Also, one of the tiny string loops for the hook-and-eye closure at back of the neck needs to be resewn(easy fix) please refer to last photo. Otherwise in fabulous vintage condition with no other notable snags/stains/tears, from smoke/pet-free home.
