This vintage white wedding dress is in great shape with no rips or tears. The detachable double layer train is over 5 feet long. It has hooks on the top. But I couldn't actually find where to attach it. Must be inside the dress somewhere. My daughter tried it on for the photo without the train. From estate a sweet vintage prom dress. This is mint green with sweet neckline embellished with three ivory rosebuds in front and one at back V by zipper. It is sleeveless with v neck in back. This has metal back zipper. Very detailed quality construction. The bodice is lined in the same fabric and tastefully finished at seams. No maker's name or label. Dress has no size label. It measures 30" around the bust under the sleeve. From shoulder to hem is 43" but to waist is 14" long. I see no holes or tears. There are some stains. Both jacket and gown are floor length. The gown is designed in an empire waist fashion. Sleeveless, with a square off low back neckline. It is fully lined with an ivory taffeta. Zips up the back with a working metal zipper, with an additional hook and eye closing at the top and empire waist(all hooks and eyes present) The jacket is made of the same brocade fabric. Is empire waisted as well, has full length sleeves, and a wonderful deep pleat cascading down the back from the empire waist. It has a collar. 2 mock pockets at the front empire waist, and fastens at the top front with 3 rhinestone buttons. This too is completely lined with an ivory taffeta. Condition: I would consider the condition of this dress to be good. Everything about the set is in excellent condition(i.e. No underarm damage or discoloration, no fading, stains, and tears. However. Gorgeous Pale Ice Blue Nightgown Designed by Mary Barron Very Good Vintage Condition Fresh from an estate and dating to the 1940’s or 1950’s. This is a lightly used, extremely sexy nightgown. The sleeveless nightgown features a lace overlaid bodice. Trimmed with a crystal pleated and lace flounce, on both the front and back. The 1 and 3/8 inch straps are also overlaid with lace and trimmed with a nylon piping. This beautiful full-length gown has a lace and crystal-pleated hem. Which is 3 and ¼ inches deep. The full hem creates a dramatic effect! The tag shows it is designed by Mary Barron. 100% nylon, and it is tagged a Size 38. It is in very good vintage condition– no stains. No tears. There is one tiny half inch place at the waistline where the thread is loose. And it needs to be restitched. There are some areas of slight puckering ... moreof the nylon throughout the lower body of the gown. But it is not noticeable and in no way detracts from the beauty of the gown. The gown is long and has 2 layers. There are 4 sets of 5 small pearl like beads on the lace on each side in the front where it ties in 2 places. Arm pit to arm pit is about 17 inches. There is green lace on the front and back. The robe has double layers on the front on both sides but 1 layer on the back. There are pearl like buttons on the robe. Gorgeous sweeping hostess gown that looks like something straight from Lucy's wardrobe.the inner layer is a pale peachy-pink. The outer layer is an ivory organdy type material with ivory velvet flocking that looks like embroidery. Ivory pearlized plastic buttons with rhinestone centers. Poofy three-quarter sleeves with elastic cuffs. This is in like new condition and has seen little to no wear, the only defect I can find is a tiny gray mark on the inside of the lining(looks like a small pencil mark) the mark is very small and does not show on the outside of the gown, shown in the last photo. It has plenty of wear left in it. And if you don't look too closely you probably won't readily see that it has some cuts and holes in both the Nylon underlayer, and Chiffon overlayer. Also. The under layer(Nylon) is longer than the outer layer(Chiffon) Don't think those things can be fixed. The front and back are very low cut V necks. The bodice is lined with a sheer nylon. The waist is fitted and then the skirt flows. It's an awesome find. Drape yourself in all this fabulous nylon today! PLEASE NOTE: There are a few very small repairs to the gown and its been hemed. One of the small repairs is just under the rose that is pined on.
