This booklet is complete but the staple that once bound it is missing It's an interesting promotional brochure emphasizing the strength and quality of Chase's horse blankets. They must have drawn attention to different types of horses using these blankets each year as I saw one sell earlier from about 1917 that illustrated the used of these blankets with draft or work horses. I believe these lithographs were printed on rolls of paper and then cut as it appear in a few spots a minute amount of printing is missing from the bottom but shows up at the very top. Very handsome blankets they used for these horses! Also looks like dogs played a part in their lives! Home remedies for the care and maladies of horse are printed on some of the pages. You are viewing 2- vintage. Used, cottage style flannel blankets. They measure approximately 63"x63" They are very soft flannel and very thin. The ground is yellow and white stripe with blue, pink yellow and white thinner stripes at the head and foot of the blanket as seen in the photos. I just washed and dried them and they came out very nicely. The edge is uneven in some places. In some areas they appear thinner. Please look at the photos closely to evaluate condition. Description Listed for sale is this collection of three vintage cotton baby blankets. Yellow blanket has western theme and is in very good condition. Blanket measures 33" X 43" Nylon trim. Blanket shows slight fading characteristic of age. No stains. Rips, tears. Cute western design of child cowgirl cowboy lassoing horses. Bluish plaid blanket measures 27" x 36" Center embroidered figure of bunny rabbit. Staining in one corner. Baby Pepperell label. The other blue blanket measures 34" x 42 1/2" and is a beauty showing cupid riding a giraffe. Satin trim along edge shows several tearss. Small flaw on line with cupid's head along left edge. While not perfect, this is a nice varied collection of three baby blankets from one estate. Blankets are very clean and have been in storage.

He/she signed with two wavy lines on the right bottom corner of the blankets. We know that the 3 wavy lines signature belongs to Eric Martinez, and two wavy lines to Julia Martinez. But these lines are horizontal, while Julia signs with slightly inclined lines. VINTAGE BREYER Clydesdale Mare & Foal w/ Blankets #8384
Great set of 2 Breyer vintage horses! Clydesdale mare and foal. Both come with green blankets. The velcro still works well on them but they are very faded as you can see. Have no idea if they can be cleaned or if that would help? Horses are in excellent condition. And all hooves and ears have no chips or marks. Under the blanket, on the side of the foal, each side has a smallish white mark, the camera would not pick it up. I don't think it's a paint scrape as the blankets are always on so perhaps it could be cleaned with a solvent? Th mare has 1 very small spot on 1 side. The blankets cover all this. I am starting the bidding much lower than the others listed on ebay for the same set because of this. Set sold as it.
