This motor is either unused or not used much. I am not sure. Some how The motor was damaged, the cord was pulled through the housing and in fact broke two of the cast bosses on the motor frame. I simply drilled and tapped new holes slightly ahead of the broken tabs and it is now fine. The fan contained in the housing was not damaged and the connector for the motor controls is undamaged as well. The damaged parts are pictured. This is a 5.5 kW(7.5HP) permanent magnet 3 phase spindle motor. It is in a very nice. Heavy duty mount. This motor weighs over 300 pounds and will ship truck freight.
