XYCom Pro-Face 4615T Ruggedized NEMA Case Industrial Touchscreen Computer Marked Assembled in USA This is a nice working XYCom Pro-Face industrial computer. The front seems to be a touchscreen. This looks to me to be very nice condition. At bootup this says it has a 1.3 Ghz processor and 1 GB DDR2 RAM. I plugged it in and was able to go into the BIOS. This all seems to be working. It knew the time and date right away. This works, you can see it working in the pictures. This unit might also be sold as Schneider. Digital or HMI brand. This was returned at lease end from corporate America. It seems to have been used in a manufacturing environment. There is an empty Compact Flash slot on the back marked"I act as your HDD" As I said the slot is empty so this computer does not boot. It errors with a disk boot failure. No big surprise, ... morethere is no HDD. The manufacturers site with datasheets is. There is a pair of slots on the back for SATA 2 1/2" HDDs. They are also empty. So if you want you can probably just put a HDD in one of those slots and you could use velcro to hold it in there. There is a DVD ROM Recorder drive on the back. Pretty fancy. There is a Microsoft Windows XP Professional for Embedded Systems COA on the back so you can get that and install from that. On the side are a number of PCI slots. Empty. There may have been special purpose cards in there but they are not there now so not included. Three serial ports, one parallel port, VGA video, Keyboard, mouse, four USB 2.0 ports and two ethernet ports one that is marked as being gigabit 10/100/1000. Fancy! My research indicates this particular model might include RAID. But I am not sure and I am sure no expert. I am not saying this unit has RAID for sure and you should not buy it depending on that based on the content of this ebay listing. I am no expert. These specs were found on the internet and lots of stuff on the internet might not be exact. I don't see any evidence of RAID but this has no boot device so that may not be a surprise. In

Xycom XVME-595 Analog Output VME Board For sale- a Xycom XVME-595 Analog Output VME Board. As you can see this board does not have the outer metal edge that normally attaches to VME boards. But the other Xycom boards I have in this format have nothing on that trim piece other than the model number and the screw attachments and removal ears. Which wouldn’t be required for using it I don’t suppose. It would just make it harder to seat it on the backplane connections in the rack and harder to remove. I suppose that you could pull a trim piece from another VME card and put it on this one? I have no idea why the piece is missing. Perhaps to allow cable access from the front of the rack? I have no way to test the board. And it is sold without warranty. HOWEVER.
