Measures micron vacuum levels from 1.999 microns(29.84 inches mercury) down to.5 microns(29.92 inches mercury) Vacuum that is not as deep as 29.84 inches mercury will display as"1" This tester is capable of measuring deep vacuum and is excellent to show final moisture removal from any HVAC refrigeration system. The instructions are to pull the vacuum down to 29" gauge pressure and then turn on the vacuum analyzer. Once it begins to read 1.999 microns or lower you are removing the final moisture in the system and you can also see if the vacuum rises due to leaks in the sealed system.
