But accurate enough to clearly indicate when the system is free from moisture and ready for recharging. It powers on and is assumed to be in good working condition but is being sold AS-IS. The Varian 843 has one independent thermocouple gauge set points and two independent ionization gauge set points to provide process control over 8 decades of high vacuum pressure. The vacuum port has a 1/4 inch VCR-type female fitting. The pressure measurement range is from 0.1 mTorr to 1000 Torr. An auto-ranging 3-digit green LED display shows the measured gas pressure value in Torr or mTorr. A nonlinear analog output ranging from 0.375 Vdc(0 Torr) to 5.534 Vdc(1000 Torr) is provided to allow remote monitoring of pressure. The module includes two setpoints which are programmed by means of the SET. UP and DOWN recessed push buttons on the panel. The setpoints activate two single-pole double throw(SPDT) relays for pressures below the programmed values. The states ... moreof the relays are indicated by the SP1 and SP2 green LEDs.
