Stella Azzurra Rapido Compact Crank (34x50), requires Isis spindle, 170mm length
I bought this used crankset off of Ebay for use on a bike I was putting together. The bike is no longer being put together. So back on Ebay it goes. It is a compact crank with 34/50 chainrings. The arm length is 170mm. From what I have been able to find out online, the crankset should weigh in at about 550-560 grams. It requires the use of an Isis spindle. Not coincidentally, I have auctions running for an FSA Isis bottom bracket with Italian threading, and a Crank Brothers Isis bottom bracket with English threading. I will combine shipping if you win a spindle along with the crankset. I bought this crankset used. Though overall, it is in pretty good shape. The arms look good, only some minor scuffs. TWO AUTHENTIC JAPANESE GLASS FLOATS WITH WANNA-BE SPINDLES Two Japanese glass floats approximately 3.25 inches in diameter. These would have been outstanding spindle floats if it wasn't for mean old Mr. gravity. They are still outstanding floats. The medium green float has a run off glass that lays inside which starts at the waist. Forms a long crescent(loop) back to the waist about 3" away. The other light colored float has a run of glass just above the waist that goes around the entire inside of the float. These are both older floats with different amounts of net pattern frosting on their surfaces. These would have formed beautiful spindles if the runs of glass hadn't stuck to the inside wall of the floats. These floats are authentic and I personally beachcombed them on Alaska's beaches. Auction is on an 1889 antique AMERICAN 5" Steel Stove Pipe Spindle. It is marked Erie. PA. with a patent date of Apr 20, 1880 and dated June 18, 1889. The spindle is about 7 3/4 in. long and 4 5/8 in. wide. It has some surface rust but is in fairly good condition for its age. Please refer to photos for more detail.
