This Sonofresco vent hood was used for 11 months in a low-volume coffee shop(about 6-10 pounds weekly) This stainless steel vent hood is 120v. It runs smoothly and is a very efficient venting system for the Sonofresco one-pound roaster. I have used both types of venting and much prefer the vent hood for its efficiency and performance.
