It has been cast a number of times, in my clinic/casting classes, so the grip has slight palm sweat wear.I didn't even clean the grip with Simple Green just so that you can have it"stock" No factory tube, but warranty and factory sock and I will ship in a PVC tube for it's safety. This is another of my Sage 1290-4 Xi2's. Although this one doesn't have the fore-grip, thus the"NF" for no fore-grip. This rod served time on two three-day tarpon fishing trips and then as one of my clinic/casting rods and shows only the mildest of surface scuffs.not a single blemish on the reel seat. You'd expect some, because it is a used rod, but there are only a few light surface scratches and they don't even show up in photos. This is for a UNEEDA NABISCO almost LIFESIZE cardboard BOY. It is approx. 3 feet 11 inches tall and 1 foot 8 inches wide at it's widest area. Don't know the age but I am guessing 40's. It was evidently made to be in stores for Nabisco promotions. It has an insert box that holds entries into a contest of such sort. Box has an area on top to allow insertion of entries. The box is approx. 10 inches square. Box can be removed and will lie flat. Item is in exceptional shape. No areas of concern except where small"tags" are that insert into areas that hold areas together. Does not have any negative effect on this great piece. Colors are terrific. Clean and clear. Here is an absolutley STUNNING 6 foot 4 panel Antique Screen or room divider for sale. I could not spot any markings on this piece so my best guess is that its Oriental. Early 1900's judging by the screws, hinges, and feet. This is high end craftsmanship with all the artwork being carved into the lacquer and then painted. I can only imagine how long this must have taken to make as the birds and flowers are so finely detailed. Just wonderful artwork on both sides. Stands 6 foot tall and each panel is 16" wide, so it can have a total width of 56" or almost 5 feet. This piece is also in great condition with no major damage like these old screens usually have. It does have some knicks here and there, the worst are in the last 2 pictures, but nothing broken, just minor chips around the edges. It will throw good sized nymphs and small streamers, but is really an exceptional dry fly rod– one of the best out there. I believe there is quite a strong following for these early light lines(LL) because of their precision casting, tippet protection, and butt section with enough strength to land larger fish. I’m selling this rod because I have WAY too many rods and need to reduce my stock. This rod comes in a Cabela’s LST cloth covered PVC tube and Sage cloth sleeve. I am not the original owner so I can’t tell you how old it is exactly. But I have had it for about 8 years. You are viewing a great Orvis fly rod that belonged to a family member. I have had it packed for about a year or so but am not sure of its age. It is a 9 foot 2 peice rod in excellent condition. Im not sure that it was ever used. It is in the original sock. The hard case is green with Orvis logo. The case has a metal tag on the end- see picture. It measures 57 inches with handle on side. Big 4 1/2 Foot Kangaroo Skin Pelt, Nice Taxidermy, Circa Australia, Buttery Soft
You are bidding on a large 4.5 foot(54 inches) full Kangaroo Skin Pelt. This item is fantastic taxidermy. And is so very soft to the touch. It is in good condition overall, but there is a 1" rip and the initials"LS" on the underside. This Kangaroo is from Australia, and bears 2 stamps of endorsement on the underside of the hide. It is not common to find one in such good condition with the tail. The underside is soft tanned skin and is tough and durable. There is some moderate staining. I believe from water. It is the worst at the neck but is not too significant and is pictured above. It is 54 inches in length, 30 inches across the hind legs, 20 inches at the waist and the tail measures 26 inches. Fly rod was owned by one of our customers who wanted a new Winston. The rod is in excellent condition from tip top to butt cap. Butt cap does have some scratches. The blank is in excellent condition with some minor marks on the ferrules from assembly. The cork has no chips and no cracks and is flawless as well. Rod comes with aluminum factory rod tube and sock. The tube looks very nice as well. The rod is ready for a new home.
