It would be difficult to know who made this nice propelling pencil without the box because the maker's name does not appear anywhere on the item. I have looked in here and saw that pencil like that have been sold before a while so i'm giving you the information from there. And there is nothing on the web that helps me to tell you who or where the PATCO works were. The pencil is in excellent condition and working well. In operation. You rotate the upper collar until the raised knob at its lower end is aligned with the colored dot desired, the slide the collar toward the point. The cross-hatched pattern on the collar helps. The amount of lead protruding is controlled by the position of the collar. An unused eraser is under the screw-top cap. The original rubber eraser is cracked at its base. Many say the air traffic control system never fully recovered. On August 5.
