PC-11® demonstrates excellent chemical resistance to mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, salt, and fresh water. Note: PC-11® will not bond to wax paper. Teflon®, Polyethylene, and some other plastics. There are hundreds of plastics in thousands of combinations. Test a small area when in doubt. Directions: Using separate knives to remove amount needed. Mix equal parts A(white) and B(pale blue) on a flat clean surface until uniform color is achieved. Surfaces to be bonded must be free of dirt, oil, rust, ect. Denatured alcohol can be used to prep the surface. For best results, rough up the surface PC-11® will be bonding to. Normally, no vice or clamp needed. Prop or tape heavy objects to a wall or ceiling. Apply PC-11® in any thickness to both sides of surface and bring together firmly. Be careful to insure that ample PC-11® remains between the contact surfaces. Use screen wire or fiberglass cloth to reinforce large voids and gaps. Tips: In cold or cool temperatures. Place PC-11® containers near heat prior to using. PC-11® mixes and spreads easier at 80°F than at 40 F. Any clean smooth flat surface is an excellent surface for mixing and working. A small putty knife or flexible artist spatula are great tools for mixing and applying PC-11®. Denatured alcohol is excellent for smoothing applied PC-11®. Also use Denatured alcohol to clean surfaces before applying. Note: Most epoxies are temperature sensitive and will cure faster at higher temperatures and slower at cooler temperatures. This is a great beginners system for digital underwater photography(snorkeling or SCUBA) I have used it for two major SCUBA diving trips to the Florida Keys and the Cayman Islands in the past 18 months(35 logged dives total) You will need to find a Sea and Sea YS series strobe for dives below 15– 20 feet as the camera based flash unit is not that powerful. I have used the YS-90 DX and YS-27-DX with fiber optic cables and an Sea and Sea S Sea Arm VII strobe tray with good success on this camera on deeper dives. This is the first generation Nikonos based on the Nikonos was the successor to the French"Calypso" designed by Jacques Cousteau and Jean de Wouters, which Nikon acquired. These were built between 1963 and 1967. Nikon bought the design from La Spirotechnique and began marketing the Nikonos in 1963. The Nikonos series of cameras was highly successful. These cameras were used underwater by amateur photographers as well as highly respected professionals, and were carried in harsh climates by adventurers worldwide. This camera is good condition inside, outside there are a few mars as I used it for many years until the III came out. Includes the neck strap and Range Finder in its own case.
