Sweet, vintage cashmere cardigan sweater; pale pink with fingertip pockets
Sweet little old lady's cardigan sweater. HEATHER'S GOOD STUFF found a treasure trove in a Central Florida estate sale-wool. Mohair and cashmere. All her sweaters were carefully packed in plastic bags and stored in plastic bins. Don't know who she was but she must have been cold all the time! Eleven different sweaters and not a hole or stain on any of them. This one is a pretty pale pink Cashmere Souffle Full Fashioned 100% Imported Cashmere. No buttons. But the cutes little fingertip pockets. Tagged size 36( a 1950's size 36 is nothing like today's) which today would definitely be a Small. Also looks like it has 3/4 sleeves. Up for auction is this pretty porcelain figure of Mary Poppins in her outfit from the park and penguin scene. She holds an umbrella that is pink and white. She is nicely detailed and in good condition. She stands 6" tall. And with the umbrella is 7" She is marked on the bottom with Roman Numerals for 1964, and Walt Disney Productions. Her umbrella does come out and turns easily in her hand. The yellow you see at the stem could be the glue that holds it, I can't tell. There is one tiny chip in the back of her head in picture 3. She has a roughness to the front edge of her hat- maybe from her umbrella hitting her in the head! She has a chip on the front of her bag- you can see it best in picture 7- but it appears to be under the glaze. The writing on the bottom looks like an ink stamp. She was either purchased a long time ago ... moreand put on a shelf- or it's a new figure. she has very little wear to her base. She is very light weight. She is very pretty. This pitcher is 6" tall and 6-1/2" across from tip of spout to outer edge of handle. The pitcher is multi-faced. See top view in photo 6, so I have taken multiple pitures of the portrait image to capture various views. The bottom marking is very faded. See photo 8. It says Made in Germany and the very center has the number 41. Excellent condition with some minor wear of some of the opalescent pink glaze. Another great find from"Jodye's Vintage Finds" on ebay.

English Staffordshire or Sunderland Pearlware Pink Lustre Pitcher c1820 ~ Sailors Farewell Jug ~ Black Transferware Illustration and Flowers ~ 6" high ~ about 7 1/2" from spout to handle An antique English porcelain bulbous pitcher with the Sailors Farewell illustration and verses. The transfers of the poems were not carefully applied and the letters appear cut off in places but this is all in the making. The main illustration shows the wife and children leaving the sailor with the ship in the distance, the other side of the jug has a verse'I envy no one's birth or fame' surrounded by a flower border. The rim and spout is painted with pink lustre and the pink lustre was painted throughout in squiggles. In overall excellent condition; there is no major damage to the piece but there is some beige staining to the pottery(probably ... morean over burn? mostly around the middle that fades to the bottom. This could be professionally cleaned to appear all white again but even as is. It has a very attractive display. The handle and spout are fine and except for around the top rim, the lustre is remarkably intact. There is one chip under the footrim that isn't seen when upright. Below.
