Gleb Korolov moved to Los Angeles from Ukraine when he was eight, and then to Big Bear Lake when he was ten. Fishing has always been his passion, and he spent majority of his summers on the lake. He started working at the docks to sneak in a few casts in boat slips, that’s where he met John The Fishing Master! He asked to be deckhand on his boat and he agreed. The next three summers consisted of netting fish, cleaning boats, learning everything about Rainbow Trout, and the technique of trolling. In the summer of 2010 he graduated from Big Bear High School and moved away for college for a few years (still fishing everyday). When he came back Spring of 2013 he was right back on the boat with John and Cliff, then became a guide the following spring.
