Here's a vintage Adjust-A-Volt variable transformer. Or Variac. Unlike most of the units you see, this one is in a handy case with a handle, cord wind up hooks, and an output meter. WOrks great. I did note the meter seems to be reading a bit higher than the actual output, although that's with no load. Smooth power adjust. Heavy little bugger to be aware of shipping. Available for your consideration this old RCA VoltOhmyst Multimeter Model WV-77E. This unit has 2 probes and is 110 powered. It had what sounded like a screw rattling around inside the case so I opened it up and found that one of the handle screws was missing so the post had fallen inside. I put the post back through the case and used a small piece of tape there till a screw can be found. Powered this thing up and it seems to work fine. Read DC voltage on a few batteries as well as Household AC and seemed pretty accurate. I think this originally had 3 probes but I only found 2 in the storage bin. 1 Red 1 Blue. Vintage ~ Knight KG-660 ~Battery Eliminator Volt Meter ~From Radio Tech Estate
This is a nice old Knight KG-660. This was used by an old radio tech. It is not dented or scratched. It has some white paint splatters around the ON-OFF switch in the lower left corner. The gauges both work. But the lense on the left gauge has a crack from side to side. The one on the right side is almost all broken out. Just a small piece of glass left in it. This still has the wires with aligator clip ends on each of the + and- posts. The electrical cord is not torn or broken. The VOLTAGE CONTROL dial in the center can be turned to increase voltage to the wires. This has a switch to go to 6 volt or 12 volt. It is right above the dial knob in center. This has all 4 rubber feet on the bottom still. The handle has to be pulled up and it has a strong spring to retract it back into the unit. This is very heavy.
