Stuff I bought cause it looks cool and is of no use to me at all. this is a pretty old multimeter. It has various coils that can be attached to give various ranges of amp measurements stored under the lid on the left, and the scale for amps is on a hexagonal prism that can be rotated to pick the appropriate scale. Weston Volt Amp Meter An early Weston DC volt amp meter with shunts. I purchased a large lot of vintage radio test equipment. Tubes, capacitors etc that I will be listing.all from the same estate of a lifetime radio repairman. I know very little about vintage radios and test equipment, but he had notes on most pieces that help explain. The note on this piece reads.Full Scale- 3 Volts, 30 Volts, 3 Amps, 30 Amps, 300 Amps. Caution: Meter Load = 54 Ohms per volt. I have no idea what I just typed.but there you go. The piece on the wooden base has a patent date of May 1893 and on one side it reads 100MV and the opposite side 300 Amp and No. 19269, which I am guessing is the serial number because the same number is on each piece of this kit. The volt-ammeter has a model number 280 and last patent date of July 1901. There are two shunts.one is a ... more30 amp shunt 100 mv drop, the other 3 amp shunt, 100 mv drop. The case has some little dings in the wood as can be seen in the pictures. It is tagged Keystone Electrical Instrument Co. Philadelphia, PA ca. 1903 and has a NO. 18774. The face of the meter is marked AC Voltmeter. It measures 7" tall, 6 5/8" wide, 3 3/8" deep.

The meter window is almost completely clear and crack-free. Sorry. I don't have the manual but you can find scans online.
