Date code 220704, is in poor original condition and features a non-original cone installed by Orange County Speaker, however it appears to be fatigued and may require an additional re-cone before installation. Ostrich textured tolex is in very nice shape. Powered by 2-12AX7's, 2-EL84's, 6AU6, 5Y3 tubes. The tubes are originals(marked Harmony) The two 12-inch speakers are Jensens and are original- NOT re-issues. Still has schematic inside amp. I do not have the foot switch but you don’t need it to use the tremolo. You are bidding on a vintage Gates M-5136 Biamote. It is a tube mic preamplifier utilizing a large input transformer along with a large output transformer. Tubes are(3) 5879. 1) 12AU7, 1) 6X4. Two XLR original microphone inputs, two additional paralleled. Output connectors are 1/4 inch phone jack and binder post. This came out of an estate and I presumed from the rough exterior it was doa. I hooked it to the variac and brought it up. Everything lit. Fed it a signal. Output to the monitors and it sounds beautiful. In the day it was used for remote radio broadcasts. A line was leased from The phone company. Its output was connected to the phone line. A mic plugged in and you were set to announce from the football game or county fair. Ok. Here is the real deal. 1969 Hiwatt DR103 100 watt Custom Built guitar or bass amp. All tube 100 watts with a master volume straight outta the factory. The most redeeming thing I can say about this amp is that it is the best sounding guitar amplifier that I have ever heard. It's just as simple as that. You know it's true. I got this amp in fairly rough shape, considered doing a full restoration on it, then decided that that would be a total sin in the eyes of the Lord. So I simply had it fully re-tubed, serviced, and I put it on my rig to test and make sure it's all ship shape and it has yet to come off. The amp not only runs fantastic, but it sounds SO GOOD. I will happily play it until it sells and then I will ship it with a frown on my face and a tear in my eye. Vintage 1974 Marshall Artiste Tube Guitar Amp Amplifier Reverb Hand Wired Rare
This is an original 1974 Marshall Artiste(not to be confused with'Artist" Which is a whole different amp) This is an extremely rare 100 watt amp head made in the UK. It was fully re-tubed and serviced less than a year ago at American Music in Seattle less than a year ago and I recently had it gone through again by T Warren in Seattle just to make sure it was ship shape for selling. There is less than 10 hours of play on it since it's re-tube. It is hand-wired and boutique-y to the max, and did I mention SUPER rare? I have a bunch of amps I'm off-loading to help pay for school and this is one of them. The Artiste was Marshall's attempt to re-create their own Fender Twin Reverb. But it is an EL34 powered amp so is tonally a bit different. The reverb is not as good as a Fender Twin IMO, but is a cool feature if you're ... moreinto that. I used a Holy Grail and just turned the reverb on the head to 0 and it was like Dick Dale's wet dream(Get it? Such a good reverb joke) The Artiste doesn't have the roar or crunch of other Marshall's but definitely packs a lot of punch. I've heard there are easy mods that basically turn it into a legitimate plexi, but it's against my religion to modify vintage amps. Yes, I'm a Mormon. The reverb channel has 2 inputs and is really cool because it gets REALLY LOUD and has a TON of clean power and almost no breakup. So you get this beautiful powerful glassy CLEAN tone that you can"feel" but it doesn't peel the paint off the walls or get thin at all. In that way it is similar to a Fender Twin. But Twins can get a little shrill at the top, where this amp is smooth and buttery with all the force and voice of a Marshall from 1 to 11(ok 10, but I HAD to) It's actually very unique- and that gorgeous clean can act as the perfect palette to run pedals and get a nice true picture of the voice of the pedal. I've never heard anything better for pedals, not even close actually. The second channel is pretty plain Jane in terms of features

MARANTZ MODEL 7B TUBE AMP
1962-1963 Marantz Model 7 tube preamplifier. Never modified or tampered with. Having 100% of its factory original components. New York in the early 1960's. This unit, like the other Model 7's I have owned, has the characteristic organic, warm, and natural sound. The reason the Model 7 is so well received is the ability for them to create sound that is rich, full, and most closely resembling the way music is meant to sound in a live venue. The preamp has what I believe all of it's original Telefunken 12AX7 tubes. While a great deal of the silk screen has rubbed off over time, most still have remnants of the numbers/letters, and"Made in Germany" on them, all having the Telefunken trademark embossed diamond on the bottom. Each tube is a smooth plate.

Beautiful Wurlitzer Console Electric Piano. Will need some work to get it in tip top playing shape. Amp works and sounds nice and warm. Volume knob crackles. Vintage 1970's Laney Klipp 100 watt tube guitar amp amplifier rare partridge UK
Black Sabbath called. They want their secret weapon back. Here is a 1970's Laney Klipp, built in the UK. 100 watts all tube evil power. The amp JUST came back from the shop where it had a run through and got all fixed up and is ready to rock and roll. This amp is essentially a Supergroup in one channel, but then there is the infamous'Klipp' channel. The Klipp channel is about the most evil sounding distortion ever and is known to be Toni Iommi's secret workhorse. The 100 watts is LOUD when cranked, but the amp also sounds great at lower volumes as well, and a lot of 100 watt can't do that. The Klipp is rare and these don't pop often.plus, the word is getting out and the values are going up. This Klipp has the original 70's Partridge transformers. Deets: I'm willing to ship worldwide. The company apparently used parts and designs from Standel. TUBES: ONE SYLVANIA 6CA4 TWO SYLVANIA 6V6 GT TWO RCA 7025 I used this amp for guitar. This amp works perfectly and sounds amazing.seriously. there is no AC hum. No weird hiss or tube problem, no microphonics. the amp is 100% perfect working condition. The speaker is kind of weak, but it does keep up, it just sound a bit flubby when cranked on low bass notes. Pilot light works. All tubes seem to be original. Power cable is two-prong, no ground. The tremolo works perfectly and sounds really great, really deep if you turn the depth to 10. The amp looks ok. But obviously some one really loved this amp ... moreand wanted to make it custom. The“custom” paint job looks like a half finished attempt by a 12 year old.check out the photos. Other than this nice paint job, the amp has a few dings and scuffs in the tolex. One foot is missing. The handle is good. The amp is solid. I played guitar with this amp. I can’t see bass player using this. it may work good for harp as well. It has a nice clean sound with subtle compression up to about half way. At 3/4 volume. The amp has gritty compressed distortion, at 100% volume the amp does a fuzz tone.like it really sounds like a fuzz peddle. If you do not want the cabinet and speaker. Item: Fender Vintage 1973 MusicMaster Bass amplifier Condition: Vintage Description: A vintage 1973 Fender MusicMaster 1x12 Bass amplifier- all tube. These were sold as bass amplifiers but really shine as guitar amps. Similar tone to a Fender Champ but with more tonal range due to the larger speaker and bigger box- sounds like a big. Roomy champ. This was the first version of the MusicMaster Bass amp, by the late seventies they were using particle core boxes- these were still plywood. Tubes are 2-6AQ5's and 1- 12AX7, 6AQ5's are very similar in tone to 6V6 which they switched to for the later models(probably for cost uniformity through their product lines) Features the original blue label alnico speaker, upgraded 3 prong grounded cord for safety. Casing is fairly clean for it's age with only a few minor marks, grill has a few snags ... moreas well but overall very good condition for nearly 40 years old. If you like the sound of vintage champs but found they sounded too small and box-y then this is the ideal answer, sounds like a chap with more power and room for the tone. A very nice example of the harder to find early MusicMaster bass amp. Fender Vintage Blackface Bassman Amplifier Amp Head Tube . Allen Mod/ master vol
this auction is for a 60's Blackface Bassman amplifier. The amp has been modded. I called David Allen and he recomended an amp tech to perform the Allen mod. Basically the left channel has more gain and a master volume is added.The deep switch when in the up position gives the tone a fatter and fuller midrange feel of the tweed bassman while the down position moves it into the upper midrange with a little more edge like a MArshall. The difference is not huge but definitely there. The right channel is stock. This is a great amp that rocks. The master volume makes it easy to get goos tones at low volume. Starting price is WAY less than I have in it. I am not a tech and don't know every aspect of the work that was done. If you search the net for bassman allen mod you'll see plenty of stuff. The Amp is in pretty decent condition for ... moreit's age, has been used and gigged so not cosmetically perfect. Please check the pictures, all sales final, NO RETURNS. Bead blasted and cleaned. All transformers cleaned, checked, and painted. 2. New filter cap wiring and power cord 3. New on/off switch. 4. New resistors on power tubes and new bias cap. 5. NOS GE 12AT7 blackplate phase inverter tube. 6. Allen mod with MV NC. 7. Bias mod NC. 8. New Sovtek Wxt+ power tubes $38.00. The bias pot is taped in a position to give you around 34ma of idle current. To check and reset/change the bias here's what you do. 1. Turn on the amp and let tubes cook for about 5 min. 2. Set multimeter to mv and plug black probe into the black jack in back left panel area. 3. To check L tube plug the red probe into the L red jack and then R jack to check the right tube. 4. The bias knob sets both tubes at the same time. The currents usually are within 3% 5. Set the bias so the average of the two tubes is where you want it to be. Usually 32-38mv(ma) To play on the bass

Masco MAP 15 Vintage Tube Amp c. 1947 Harp / Guitar Don Butler serviced (Lollar)
This is a cool old Masco amp that I bought a number of years back. I had it serviced by Don Butler who replaced whatever caps and tubes needed replacing and cleaned everything that needed to be cleaned. I believe that all is original except as noted(Looks to be fairly original with minor losses. And normal wear and tear. Missing one tiny screw which holds the control plate to the cabinet. Losses to tolex cover in spots. Rear panel appears to have been retolexed in similar material. including the handle and I believe that the speaker is as well. The amp sound great and is very responsive. This is a very cool amp but one that I need to let go in preparation for a move. This sale is not for Jason Lollars actual amplifier. Made in USA Ampeg VL-503 All Tube guitar amp. Tube amp guru Lee Jackson designed this amp(he modified the famous Van Halen 1 Marshall for Eddie as well as Paul Gilbert's and George Lynch's. It is known for its killer clean and massive crunch tone. Robert Smith of The Cure used and still uses it for clean sounds and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age used it for crunch. Zakk Wylde of Ozzy used the head version. It will do anything you throw at it. I did Soundgarden. Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Foo Fighters, and Tony Bennett on it- clean or crushing. It is 60 watts and has THREE full independent channels with separate EQ and Reverb for each. It has a built in Power Soak(Power Attenuator) an effects loop, standby switch and it can switch from using EL34s like Marshalls to the 6550(6L6) Boogies use. Boogie 6L6's are installed now. ... moreIt has the original footswitch that lets you switch between all three channels plus reverb and effect loop. I have an extra new footswitch cable for it and a cover. It is very well made and has casters to easily move it. I dont know what the speaker is that installed because the magnet is unlabeled. VINTAGE 1965 YES THAT IS CORRECT 1965 BLONDE FENDER BASSMAN BLACKFACE AMPLIFIER IN GOOD CONDITION! This is a rare original Fender Bassman blonde amp. This has 2- 6L6 GE power tubes and 4 12ax7's or 7025 tubes. The transformers are original as are the main caps. I don't see any evidence it has been worked on at all. Other than some tubes have been replaced. The main caps and transformers all have dates from either the 12th or the 13th week of 65. The speakers are from that same time frame as well. They are both oxford 12" speakers. The label states this is the AA165 model and the Date on label is OD/ April of 1965 Great sounding amp that has been used but in better cosmetic condition than many from that era. Check out similar amps on ebay. This is a steal! Your looking at a great TUBE amp. I put new tubes in it which cost me $120 and it stopped working so I took it into a local musical repair shop where I spent $180 in parts and labor. I have played less than 5 hours on it since then. I decided to let it go even though I love this thing. Below are the details you need to know and make sure to check out the pictures. The outside. Other than the back was replaced by someone else. The speaker cover has a couple of holes, the corners are a little warn but what matters is on the inside and this things buts out a nice warm tube sound! Year: 1966(Circa) Manufacturer: Ampeg, Model: Gemini VI GS 15 R, Case: None, Color: Blue, Condition: Very Good, Description: The Gemini VI GS-15-R was a continued evolution in the Gemini Series. It is a single channel ... moreversion of the Gemini II. With tremolo and echo, also featuring a fixed-bias power section that bumped up the output to 30 watts. Originally intended for the accordion and guitar, it found popularity among guitarists. The amp has some interesting features, there is a"click" stop past the usual maximum point on the treble control. This was called an"Ultra High Switch" it serves as a"bright" switch. Likewise, the tremolo intensity pot has a"click stop" that activates a"repeat precussion" feature that was supposed to offer an echo repeat sound, it actually turns the volume completely on and off rather than just modulating it up and down. Like other Gemini amps, this GS-15-R features the famed Baxandall type treble and bass circuits that both"boost" and"cut" bass and treble, not just"cut" The cabinet is divided between the power section and the speaker section, allowing the speaker portion to be fine tuned with a smaller"port" type of opening in the back panel, while still allowing the upper"power section" to be more open and provide better cooling. Rare find from older estate sale. National Thunderball Bass Amp. model 20. Tube amplifier unit. has pair of 6L6 Black plates and pair of RCA 12ax7. This baby was sent through our shop. Serviced, got new capacitors, controls cleaned and lubed, works fine, sounds just great. has a 15 inch no name speaker, marked 220807, 550 15S, C15PS, C7747-4. The entire unit stands 27 inches tall and 19 inches wide. Cosmetically very nice for age, typical wear, some marks, etc. has a copper colored grill which is very cool. has handle on top. has a name written on back below the tubes in light white marker, very minor. see pictures. Monacor 15 watt all-tube piggyback guitar amp. SUPERB!!
I had fun building this amp. Actually. I did little except to recap and retube the amp, add a grounded power cord, and slightly refurbish an old schoolhouse record player speaker cabinet to match it. The amplifier is a Monacor. Proudly made in Japan to the highest quality standards. It's VERY neatly handwired, using excellent components; typical of Japanese builds. It is a Model PAA-20. I'm guessing it produces 15 or 16 watts; plenty loud enough for a garage band; and the sound is all saturated overdrive, even at fairly low volumes. This was a late tube design, utilizing one of the last vacuum tubes invented, the 6BM8 triode/pentode. It has a pair of those, and a single 12AX7. The original Matsushita 6MB8s were borderline, so I plugged in a great matched pair of RCA tubes. The 12AX7 is new. The output transformer is tapped for 8 and ... more16 ohm cabinets, and the speaker is a great Quam-Nichols AlNiCo 8 ohm speaker, rated for 25 watts. The cabinet certainly shows wear. But it's solid. The entire rig weighs just 19 pounds, so it's easy to transport, and will be fairly inexpensive to ship. The amp head tucks neatly inside the cabinet for transport or shipping. You'll love the way this amp sounds. It's simple to use. Wonderful to listen to, and won't break your back or your bank account. I charge exact shipping and insurance.
