VINTAGE PHILCO 40-120 AM RADIO AND POLICE SCANNER Radio power ups and receives AM radio stations. I was able to pick up transmissions on the Police Scanner but the signal wasn't strong enough to lock on a channel where voices could be heard clearly. I think this was due to an inadequate antenna. As you can see from the pictures. The radio is scratched up a bit. Besides that, it's something from the past, made in America and still looks beautiful sitting on a table top or shelf. You are bidding on a TAYLOR 754-33 Ice Cream/ Yogurt Machine. 3-flavor with twist. This is a water cooled model. The serial number is J6074873. Power requirements are 208-230 V, 60 HZ, 3PH. I do not have 3-phase power available so I can not run the machine. However I removed the panels and checked it out with a volt-ohn meter. The only problem I found was an open ground on the right hand side. This was due to the power cord ground wire lug not making good contact with the frame of the machine. I cleaned off all paint and wire brushed the copper lug and reattched it which solved the problem. Both compressors show no shorts nor open circuits. There are no signs of leaks, over heating of wires or components, odors, or other abnormalities were found. Contactors and relays appear in good condition. I suspect the open ground on the right hand side ... moreof the maching affected the functioning of the right side control panel. The machine was purchased at a major university surplus auction. The unit can be picked up or shipped provided buyer makes arrangements with a transfer company. The machine is on castors. The power cords are about 10 feet in length. Description: Offered is a rare Goya/Levin circa 1963 acoustic guitar. I believe this guitar is an early example after the Goya/Levin merger. The label has been torn out. My research suggests it is most likely a model LS-18. 000 Grand Concert size. Solid spruce top. Solid mahogany back and sides. Mahogany neck. Bound rosewood(Brazilian? finger board with MOP inlays and dot side position markers. Bone nut and saddle. Scale length is 24-3/4" String height at 12th fret is 3.5mm for E6. And 3.0mm for E1. The bone saddle is at minimum height. The bridge would need to be shaved, and the saddle slot deepened to lower the action. The intonation is acceptable at the 12th fret. I think it's set up good for aggressive play. Lower bout is 15-1/8" width. Fantastic tone and volume. Tight bass, rich mids, and sparkling highs. A good condition ... morevintage chip board case is included. I will pack for safe transport, and fully insured. I will email additional photos upon request. Condition: Used. Heavy pick wear around sound hole. And at far edge of pick guard. Long, old repaired ~16" crack on treble side. There is an unrepaired crack, ~3" on either side of butt end strap button. No top cracks. Missing ~2-1/2" of binding at the bass end of the finger board. Minor fret and finger board wear: frets 1 to 5. Missing tuning machine bushings for the D and b strings. Finish checking consistent wit the guitar's age. There is one finish crack, ~3" long on the back, lower bass side. I don't think it extends deep into the wood, if at all. Relatively minor dings and scratches throughout. Replaced vintage Kluson Deluxe tuning machines. The bridge is flat, with minor bellying and bulging of the top in front of, and behind. Vintage Antique Old Wood Table Top Tube Radio Small Rare Detrola Mdl 3202
This is an excellent example of the 1939 Detrola table Top Radio Model 3202 made in Detroit. MI. The beautiful cabinet still retains its original finish with just a few minor marks here and there. This model features the carrying handle, push buttons for quick station selection(would need to be set or adjusted in the rear of radio for specific stations for each button) or you can simply push the far right button in and use the tuning knob for tuning in or surfing your local broadcast area. Also this radio has a built in"loop antenna" so you will not need to attach extra leads for the BC or am radio reception. The radio has its original bakelite knobs, dial lens cover, push buttons, and AC power cord. The filter caps have been changed and an alignment completed for peak performance. I did change the grill cloth, dial lamp, dial cord, ... moreand added a back to keep out any little hands that may want to reach in there.
