A 1973 Fishing Guide and Catalog. Catching Fish by Al& Ron Lindner and Bill Binkleman. It is softcover, measures 5 1/2 in. x 8 in. and has probably 200 pages though the pages are not numbered. Most of the book is dedicated to methods and techniques of how-to fish and stories of big catches. The last several pages feature Lindy's fishing tackle, rigs and lures, etc. the book has many photos. It is quite yellowed with average wear and soil to the exterior. The pages though yellowed are clean and unmarked, only one page is torn at the bottom edge with no text missing. No odors, securely bound. The Lindner brothers invented and marketed numerous lures(such as the Lindy Rig. No-Snagg fishing sinker, and the Rapala VMC product line for walleye fishing) with some selling in the millions. Vintage Women's early 1940's Black Velveteen Lindner Dress Shoes
Vintage Black Velveteen Dress Shoes from the Lindner Co. in Cleveland Ohio. Which was acquired by Allied Stores in 1947. Size 7-7 1/2 Price includes free shipping in continental US. The black velveteen is intact everywhere except the 1/4" strip just under the heels. Where it is frayed but intact. There are no stains or tears in any of the rest of the fabric. The tiny rhinestone buckles and prongs are intact, as are the straps. The insoles of both shoes have been professionally replaced. There is one original insole. The outer soles and heels are original and intact. The linings of both the straps are cracked, but quite usable. These shoes are in very good condition.
