5C5 FENDER PRO / SUPER AMP AMPLIFIER BOGAN CHALLENGER CH-30 VINTAGE CABINET HEAD
I bought this amp and gutted it the first day. I knew exactly what i wanted it to be. I kept the original trannies which were better than just about anything available today, the power tranny barely gets warm after hours of use and i think that is tube heat. The output appears to have been changed years ago but is a beefy vintage multi-tap Stancor and was a great surprise. I change the sockets that looked suspicious and cleaned and re-tensioned the rest. I kept as much of the original look of the cabinet as much as possible with just a good cleaning of the original paint. The tone caps are vintage Erie pulled from an old Hammond and were thoroughly tested and were used in some of Fenders early builds. The input caps are Bumble Bees and were also tested. Most other internal components are new including the pots and the added stand-bye switch. ... moreI did use the original on/ off switch so i could keep as many of the original aluminum knobs on the front panel and the jewel is original and was moved to allow room for the stand-bye switch. The circuit is true to the original Fender 5c5 pro/ 5c4 Super( same circuit) as much as the new component values would allow. The 5u4 rectifier is a vintage strong RCA blackplate. The 6l6 power tubes were pulled from my stash testing very strong and well matched but different makers( Tung-sol and Sylvania) The phase inverter is a strong vintage RCA metal 6sc7, 1st channel preamp is a strong vintage military RCA glass 6sc7gt, and the 2nd channel preamp is a weak RCA 6sc7 that still has good low volume sound but will need to be replaced. I used a socket converter for the second channel to use 12ax7's but the 6sc7's sound much better to me. This amp has treated me well for nearly 1 1/2 years so it has been thoroughly tested. I used this mainly with a"Parts Caster" with p-90 pick-ups and a custom cab with a single P15N. This is the speaker used in the original 5c5 Pro amp. This is a super clean Morgan 30/800 head in pristine condition. These heads are all hand wired by Joe Morgan and suited up with Mercury Magnetics. This particular head has a very cool black sparkle finish that shines even more under light. The 30/800 is supposed to be a hybrid of the Vox Ac30 and a Marshall JCM 800. It has the best clean tone I have ever heard in my life. And the dirt tone is very big. It's a spectacular amp, but unforeseen bills forces me to sell this. I brought this head to my amp guy a couple weeks ago and he replaced the tubes and gave it a clean bill of health. It is as good as new.Thanks!

This is a vintage Custom Sound Cub 30 Tube amp. The amp is still in great shape. With a little bit of cosmetic wear and missing its front name plate. The amp turns on when plugged in, unfortunately, i dont have an electric guitar to test it out, but the gentleman i got the amp from said it does work just fine. Budda Dual Stage 30 Combo Guitar Amp
I have a rare Budda Dual Stage 30 to sell. This is an amp that was only built in a limited number. This one is Serial# DSE 0022. It is hand wired and has been very reliable since I have owned it. The tubes are in good condition and it is ready to gig. The amp features two separate 30 watt power amps that are switchable along with speaker cabinet switching. The 5881(6L6) tube power amp has a clean fender type sound and the EL84 tube power amp is meant to be cranked. There is a built-in 20db power step antenuator for controlling the EL84 master volume to allow for power amp over-driving. The 5881 section has a regular pot master volume. You can switch the power amps and speaker cabinets separately or link the together using the foot switch. The foot switch uses a regular 1/4" stereo cord. Both the foot switch and cord are included.
