A plexiglass cover keeps the pins down in the face plate.You can change the pins around for your own phone number. The florescent bulbs are powered by 2 ballasts. Its a little hard to open the sign up and change the phone number without dropping all the pins out so if you like I can change the number for you before I ship. Has short chains on top for hanging and pull chain switch. The sign is really beautiful and looks better than the newer led type signs. As you probably know when LED's start going out you have to throw the sign away This one will last forever, just replace the bulbs. Someone hand signed some initials inside with the date 1996.
