Item: Pair of Vintage“FISHER” Lab Clamps Note: I have a bad habit of holding the camera crooked and sometimes the item appears offset. I assure you that this item is completely level and it is the photo only. Description: For sale is a Vintage Pair“ FISHER” Brand Test Tube/Beeker Science Lab Clamps that date from around 1940-50. These are Fisher Model# 1540. I am quite positive on those dates because of whom/where I found these. Each of these measure7 ½” Long and made of“CASTALOY” Notice that each of these have a different material in the actual clamp section. One is Rubber for room temperature and below items and the other is covered in a thick cloth for heated tubes. Heated tubes would obviously melt the rubber. So. With this pair…you have all your“ bases covered” so to speak! I wanted to use a“scientific” saying. But I couldn’t think ... moreof one! I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1– 10(Ten being MINT/New in Package) I can confidently grade this item’s condition to be a solid 7.5 at least. Both of these Clamps are in EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. There is Absolutely ZERO Damage to them at all. The only possible flaw(depending on how you interpret it) is that there is some normal wear to the surface of the metal such as tarnishing and light sporadic pitting. Afterall. They are 50+ years old. But. All moving parts move problem free and there is no weakness. They are just as strong as they were 50 years ago. L85 FISHER 10P vintage BENCH STRAP CLAMP 4 GAS CYLINDER BOTTLE LAB EQUIPMENT etc
Note: L85 is my inventory control number. This auction is for(1) used Fisher 10P heavy duty lab strap clamp. It looks like it was only used once and is in excellent condition. It is heavy steel compared to the newer aluminum bodied ones. It can be clamped to a bench or counter overhang with the 2 thumbscrews. Maximum capacity of mounting that way is 1.8255" inches. It can also be securely permanently bolted to a surface with screws or bolts using the(2) 1/4" holes that are spaced apart 3.3750" on center. The 1-1/2" wide strap is in great shape and this really holds good with the serrated jaw to keep the strap tight. The strap has 2 sections one side is 22" from mount and the other side is 8" from mount. The strap is securely riveted to the buckle and mounting pins. There are no cuts or tears in the strap. It ... moreshould have a 10" capacity hence the model# but I didn't check it since I got this out of storage. It has many uses in the lab such as securing gas cylinders to benches. The stand's base is white porcelain and it is marked Thomas Phila. U.S.A. It is 25 3/4" tall. The base is 8 1/8" wide& 9" deep. No chips or cracks to the porcelain base. L161 FISHER vintage PORCELAIN LAB STAND HOLDER SUPPORT 4 GLASS TUBE LABWARE 24"
Note: L161 is my inventory control# only. I plan to list over 500 pieces of assorted lab glassware in all styles ranging from 1ml to 4000ml in size as I get free time. Some are new and some are used but everything is getting listed as"used" to save time sorting them out. They are all 100% useable and have no chips. Cracks or defects unless noted in listings. They were always stored in a enclosed lab glass cabinet. Check back often if you are looking for lab glassware. This listing is for(1) used vintage Fisher Porcelain lab stand support. This nice used one has a 7" x 13" porcelain base and it weighs 5# 10oz. The rod is standard diameter.500(1/2" and is 23-1/8" above the base. These are great. Heavy duty sturdy vintage stands. NOTE: When I ship this the rod will be unscrewed and put into a Priority 24" long ... moremailer with the base. I will bubble wrap the base. When you get it just put the rod in the base and tighten the nut and it will be ready for use. Shipping is what it is due to the weight and length of this item. Shipping to 50 US States only.
