10 Paden City 9" Plates - Touch Of Black H34 - Regina Shape -Disc. Pattern-1930s
This is 10 plates done in the 1930s by Paden City Pottery. The shape on the saucer is"Regina" and the pattern is"Touch Of Black" This is a discontinued pattern. The plates are marked on the bottoms and they say"Regina. P.C.P. Co,K33" The colors in the plates are off white, orange, pink, blue, green, yellow, and black and all of the plates are trimmed in gold. The plates are 9 inches across. We went to an estate sale for a real horder several weeks ago and found the soup and serving bowls for this pattern which I have already sold. We were passing by yesterday afternoon and thought we would stop and see if they had any more of this pattern of dishes left and found cups and saucer, the creamer and open sugar bowl and these plates. I will be listing all of these pieces this evening. I am not sure if the plates are ... moreconsidered dinner or luncheon plates. I would use them for dinner plates but there may be a larger plate that is used for dinner. The plates are in wonderful condition, only one of the plates has a tiny nick on the back of the rim of the plate. There is crazing and some very minor discoloration. It is hard to believe that these plates have to be at least 45 years old. They, of course. Were made in England. Portmeirion has now bought Spode and Royal Worcester but their names will continue. Offered for bid is a set of two vintage cobalt blue Akro Agate small stacked disc and interior panel plates. The Akro Agate logo. A crow clutching a marble, is found on the bottom of both plates(photos#4 and#5. They date to the 1930's and 1940's. Each plate has a diameter of about 3-1/4 inches. The condition is excellent with no chips. Cracks, or repairs. One of the plates has a bubble inside the glass along the rim(photo#6. The same plate has a straw mark(photo#7. I mention these things only for accuracy, because they have been there since the manufacture of the plate. The other plate has no straw marks or bubbles that I could see under close inspection. BMW Airhead Front Disc Brake Mounting Bolts & Backing Plates R75 R90 S /5 /6
1974 BMW R90/6 Bolts for mounting single brake disc on front hub. Good condition. Bolts have normal cad plating graying from age. Self locking nuts still hold well but are rusty on the outside. You may want to replace them. The washer/backing plates are straight. Should fit other airheads, do your research on one of the online BMW fiche websites. These parts came from a 1974 BMW R90/6 that was last on the road in North Carolina back in 1988(based on an inspection sticker on the frame from 1987) The bike went into a shop in northeastern Tennessee in 1988 to have the throttle cables replaced and have a tune-up done. The owner never returned for the bike which languished for 26 years in a warehouse until discovered in May of 2014. The warehouse was beginning to leak and fall down around the bike which accounts for the condition of some of the ... moreparts of the bike. The original odometer shows 25944 miles(Note the speedometer/odometer shown in the photos is NOT included in the auction. It is shown for mileage reference only) I cannot attest to the fact of that being actual mileage. As most of us that deal with airheads know. The odometer on/6's can go haywire at any time. This pattern is particularly durable of vitrified china. Metallised" was a trade name Wedgwood used from 1970 to the 1 990's.
