Alemite Oil Mist Lubricator - Oiler - Generator with 115V Oil Heater
You are looking at an Alemite Oil Mist Lubricator/ Oiler/ Generator. It was fully tested. And it is in good, working condition. The capacity is probably one gallon. In the photos, it is filled with two quarts of oil. It has a heater for higher viscosity oils. The heater heats up the oil, and it turns on and off at certain temperatures. As the temperature of the oil drops, the heater automatically turns on(it has a thermo switch) The oil mist has a float switch. Which shows when the oil is low. Photo 19 shows a piece of blue tape on the sightglass- if the oil is above the tape, low level makes contact and the common contact is open. The common contact and low level breaks contact is closed. When the oil is below the tape, low level makes contact and common contact is closed, and low level breaks contact is closed and open. It can be connected ... moreto a relay, that will give a signal when the level of oil is low. The heater can be turned off. The air solenoid value and relief value work well. The oil mist releases air somewhere- when I attached the compressor. The pressure gauge showed 20 psi. I left it for 24 hours and it dropped to 10 psi, like in photo 15. The air connections need to be checked, because the air release is not major. The oil does not leak. There is a hose connected to the oil mist. And a Hansen series 3000 quick connect coupling is connected to the hose. The oil reservoir is cast iron. Heavy duty. This is a nice old piece. Up for sale is a Norgren air filter. Regulator with gage and lubricator/ oiler. This was used in my garage on my compressed air system for use on my air tools. I removed it 3 years ago when I moved and have not used it since, I did not run a central air system in my new garage. It was in perfect working condition when removed. The number on the filter is F12-300-M3DA, the regulator is R08-302-RNMA, and the lubricator is L12-300-MPDA. Inlet is 250 psig MAX. this is a very nice unit and has the sight tubes in the bowls. The unit measures approx. 14 1/2 inches long and approx. 7 inches tall, the diameter of the filter and lubricator/oiler are 2 3/4 inches by 7 inches tall. The gage diameter is 2 1/4 inches, I will remove the gage prior to shipping to prevent damage.
