Here is a New Idea 279 mower cut conditioner it good shape and it works just fine. It is a 9' cut. We got it in and hooked it up it seems to run out just fine. It is a 540 pto and hydraulic lift. The hitch can be removed to haul it home and be under 7' wide. I would say it will take at least a 70hp tractor to handle this cut conditioner. Up for sale is a New Idea 9 foot Cut ditioner. I bought this a s aback up machine and we have not used it so It is time for it to go. The machine is in fair condition for its age. The blades are the ones that are replaceable. If you have never used one of these machine they are the best and worse thing you can use. We still use a 7 foot cutditioner. As it lets you start cutting a little earlier in the year because this will make the hay dry. But it takes a lot of horse power to pull it. It make our 656 work hard on the 7 footer. But look over the pictures there is some damage to the inside and there is some rust on the out side but over all this is in fair usable shape. With a little work it will be a good machine. Here is a New Idea 5114 Mower conditioner.The hydraulic swing and lift works fine and the hydraulic drive works good. It has a good set of rolls. It has hydraulic separation on the rolls in case of a plug it can easily be pushed through. The hitch can swing to one side and it will load and be 8'6" wide on a trailer.
