Antique Iron Farm Implement Planter Pea Attachment Seed Hopper
You can barely make out the painted stencil that reads“Pea Attmt” But I find nothing that readily identifies the maker of this iron seed hopper. You won’t be searching for the lid because it is attached from the inside with a spring. The gear on the bottom turns and stops at each seed drop outlet, making a full rotation. Whether a seed would actually drop is an unanswered question. As you can see. The hopper is well weathered with surface rust evident.
