It has one o-ring and creates a good seal(especially with plumber's tape) I'm not exactly sure what it is made of, but it is a hard plastic, and I would assume it is poly-carbonate. This part is missing the two rocker cover gaskets because you must remove the cover to unbolt the head. I am including the head bolts and a head gasket that was on but has 20 min of run time. And the injector sleeves is really important. these 6.0 heads crack here all the time. Out of all the 6.0 heads we check to get ready for a rebuild. We find about 60% are not usable. we scrap them. nothing but quality is the name of the game, right from the very first check! We do our work on ... morepremises and starts with a complete tear-down and thorough inspection of every head entering our shop. After a complete evaluation of all components. It's on to our state-of-the-art, 3-Step thermal cleaning system and magnafluxing. THE CLEANING PROCESS IS MOST IMPORTANT IN THESE 6.0 HEADS! There is typically a ton of carbon build up. And the cleaning alone takes hours, yes hours per head. This is followed by our unique pressure testing tank which checks for final hidden cracks and imperfections. This final step is where the small cracks are found around the injector sleeves! Magnafluxing alone will NEVER find these cracks. And most machine shops do not know this! At this point. Triumph TR25W Cylinder Head
This is head I believe is for the 71-72 model. I got this several years ago. Has a broken fin at the top. Not very visible with the engine in the bike. It could be ground a little and you'd have to be looking for it. Some lunk head pounded as you can see the divets are around the plug hole. This old stuff you just get used to defects. Wouldn't stop me form using it but that's up to the individual. Has nice valves with thick edges. Little surface rust on springs. I just finished my 68' TR25W and cleaning out the garage of extras. I can't remember why I bought this because it's not for my engine. Anyhow. Its a good usable head cheap. The shipping is for the lower 48 states. If your outta that description I'll have to get a quote and that can take time. I have a busy schedule so give some time. Thanks for looking.
