2011 Trek Bontrager XXX Full Carbon Road Bike Bicycle Fork 1 1/8"-1 1/2" Taper
This is a used fork in very good condition. There are a few minor nicks and two larger nicks(rock marks) near the bottom of the fork(shown in the fifth photo) I will touch them up if desired by the buyer…but did not want to try to hide them. This fork came from a Trek Madone 6.2. The date stamp is 4/12/2011. The carbon steerer tube is approximately 265mm(10 ½” in length. It has Carbon fork blades. Alloy dropouts, and a carbon 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" asymmetric tapered threadless steerer, It is caliper brake compatible. The fork accepts a 700 c wheel(100mm dropout width) The colors are black/white/yellow. Also included are the following: Crane Creek headset with bearings 35mm of Bontrager spacers(2@ 10mm and 3@ 5mm) Internal star. Bontrager top cap and bolt. This auction is for a rare Zeus Competition Bottom bracket. These were built by Spanish company Zeus to compete with the likes of Campagnolo Shimano and TA in the late 60's early 70's This is a beautiful example having had little use. They were on a frame mothballed in the loft for 20 years! The treaded cups are made in england by Baylis Wiley& the axle comes with the original Zeus bolts. I've cleaned the ball bearings but dropped some in doing so. I've included more than enough new ones to use and have some spare. This would look nice on a period bike& a little different too. FOSTORIA glass crystal BAROQUE three light taper CANDLESTICK
Offered for sale is a beautiful clear glass crystal three-light candlestick from Fostoria. In the Baroque pattern, also known as Fostoria item#2496. It dates from 1937 to around 1958. The candlestick measures just over 8 inches(20.3cm) long overall. It stands 5 1/2 inches(14.0cm) tall. And the circular base is about 5 1/4 inches(13.3cm) in diameter. A U.S. quarter is included in the third picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance. It is free from chips and cracks. And there is no lime scale or detergent damage. It is used but beautifully clear, with no visible surface scratches. There is no manufacturer's mark on this piece. All my items are from a SMOKE FREE home. Nice candle care accessory item. This is a"taper tipper" It is a cone or snuffer shaped device used to shape and size taper candles. It is made of a nicely weighted pewter alloy metal. It is made by Wilton Armetale and has the RWP USA makers marks on the piece just above the lower rim. The piece measures approx 2 3/8" high and 1 3/4" wide at base. This vintage piece is not new, but is in clean condition with light signs of wear consistent with age and use of pewter metal. Overall, a nice appearance as shown in photos. Gorgeous Pair Of NORLEANS JAPAN White With Yellow Rose China Taper Candlesticks
This is an auction for a pair of some of the sweetest little candlesticks I've seen for awhile! These little darlings are made in Japan. Bear the original stickers which state Norleans, and feature a pretty opened yellow rose with white edged petals-one on each of them. They are white china, not pottery, and feature a narrow gold leaf edge at the top and at the base. They also feature a curved design down to the base and 3 pretty green leaves on each. Measurements are: 3& 1/2" in height, by about 2& 1/2" in diameter at the base, and will hold a taper candle. They are darling, and the only"chip" if that is what one would call it, is a rough place along the edge of one of the petals on one of the roses-looks to me as though it might be able to gently be buffed out-I will leave that up to the new owner-they sure ... moreare darling, though! Here is a beautiful classic 1960s vintage Lucite ring from my collection I have had for several years. This is a great SOLID RED CLEAR TRANSPARENT JELLO VINTAGE LUCITE SAUCER DOME RING manufactured in the 1960s by Best Plastics. Which was located in Rhode Island and created many classic collectible Lucite pieces coveted today. This ring is one of a collection I have that I am thinning out, just like many of the older plastics with that classic saucer dome shape. Used South Bend Heavy 10" metal lathe Model number CL187R serial number 14936RKL16. Bed is 4 1/2' CTC about 36" Bore is 1 3/8" All gears are in good shape. The lathe itself has some wear in the ways with some dinges and dents, minor scratching and a groove that I can feel a ridge at the top and bottom of the ways not enough to grab my fingernail. There is also some wear on the compound from the chuck. This lathe includes 6" 3 jaw chuck, 6" face plate, Rocker toolpost with r-l-s holders, thread dial, taper attachment, chuck wrench, Jacobs chuck with key, dead center, forward reversing drum switch, and quick change gearbox. The backlash is about 1/8 turn in crossfeed and 1/8 turn in compound. The spindle is 2 3/8" 6tpi. It has a 110 volt motor and is on the original fabricated South Bend base cabinet. Mavic's specially designed bottom bracket requires personal courage. Real expertise, or professional installation, but will last you a life time. This bottom bracket is another variation of the floating style bottom bracket unit, this one is made to achieve very fine and minute adjustments. Installation requires that your bottom bracket shell is re-faced to make the shell faces perfectly parallel and chamfer the inner lip of the B/B shell slightly. The re-facing to make this B/B fit will require the elimination of the outer few threads inside the B/B shell. This is done to accept Mavic's special mounting rings that use a threaded compression fit. As the threaded aluminum lockrings are tightened. Walker Turner 900 Drill press SPINDLE with JT1 #1 jacobs chuck taper no quill
Spindle for Walker Turner 900 drill press dating to the late 1930s or early 1940s. This is for the spindle only. Spindle has good splines. Taper is in good condition. The holes for the spanner wrench have been worn on one side where it looks like someone used a punch to open them instead of a spanner. The chuck which came off this was a Jacobs No 1 with 0-1/4" capacity, but the chuck is not included in this auction. Included is the spindle and the adapter nut. Parts#25 and 26 on the diagram. Also included on the spindle is one of the original bearings(30) although it is grinding and not in good shape.
