Red crackle glass mini pitcher clear handle 3.5 inch WV blown glass. From my collection of crackle glass. Here's a mini-pitcher, just 3 1/2 inches tall! It has a tiny pulled down spout, narrow waist, clear applied handle and large, smooth cracks. Probably older, as it has the real heavy base of the early ones in mid-century, it was blown in West Virginia by a long-ago craftsman. The pontil mark is quite evident(and a little rough) No cracks that weren't planned, no chips- Excellent condition. Nice dark red color.

HEAVY SALT GLAZE 2 GALLON STONEWARE SHOULDER JUG WITH HANDLE & CORK - NICE
This very old heavy salt glaze stoneware 2 gallon cider. Whiskey, or moonshine shoulder jug has an old well-worn cork and accents of black, gray, brown, and orange on the upper part of the jug. There is the number 2 in cobalt blue and some slight spattering of the blue beneath it. There are indents, chips, and crazing present commensurate with its age and usage. The base is roughened and has discoloration. Please view all photos. It is about 13-1/2" high to the top of the jug and 8-1/2" in diameter. I bought this at a Pennsylvania farm auction. Handling is $2 which includes insurance.

2 EAPG Possibly Lacy Daisy Pattern Double Handle Nappy Relish Celery Dish
Although I'm not certain. I believe these are"Lacy Daisy" pattern from US Glass c. 1918. They measure about 9" X 4" and feature two handles and an intricate design. Both pieces have multiple minor chips and flea bites especially around the inner rim. There is also what appears to be a hairline crack in the outer surface(only) of one of the nappy's. It does not appear to extend beyond the surface, so perhaps it's a manufacturing flaw. None of these flaws are very noticeable without closer inspection. They are still very nice pieces. Montreal, sterling silver handle from a carving fork or knife. It came from Birks in Montreal some time in the late 1940s- early'50s. The design is usually just referred to as"beaded. as far as I know. This Birks sterling handle seems to be heavier than the Pompadour pattern ones shown on 3 utensils in my other silverware listings. It measures about 4+1/4 inches( 11cm) long. The guard is 4cm across and the slit for receiving the blade is about 1.5cm across. ... moreMeasurements are approximate. There is some light polishing wear to this silver handle and 3 or so scratches on either side. The underside of the guard is marked Birk's sterling. Sterling also appears on the handle proper just above the guard. There is a small dent and darkening where the broken utensil was removed. I do not know if any part of the original tool remains inside or not. NOTE: Replacements.com(USA) responded to a query about the re-purposing of this kind of handle. Saying that this type of hollow handle is filled with pitch. To insert a new implement, the handle is drained, as by Birks' silversmith in Toronto, and then the new part is inserted. The cost for this service is a mere $40. I do not know if that amount would include the cost of the new stainless steel blade or not. It is quite striking and delicate in appearance. It is old, but the date is unknown. There are 3 hallmarks as seen in the photos. I did some research on them with only partial success. One hallmark is the head of Minerva indicating.950 silver purity. Another hallmark appears to be the initials"L B" or"L R" with a fleur de lis( between them. The last hallmark appears to be weevils. Antique Rogers Quadruple Silverplate Footed Bowl With Handle. The number 0861 is on the bottom. This bowl is old and looks like it. It is very tarnished. Has some pitting, some scratches and some tiny indentation marks on the inside of the bowl. There are four intentional dips in the top of the bowl. There is another dip which I do not believe is intentional. There are what looks like initials inside the bowl(see photo#3) The handle does not stand up freely. Its purpose of the handle is to carry the bowl. I think that covers it. Basically, if you are looking for a bowl in mint condition, this is NOT for you.
