Jeannette Glass Clear Dish with Tab Handle - Celery?
This clear glass dish belonged to a relative and we do not know its exact age. We think it may be a celery dish. It has the Jeannette Glass logo on the bottom. A J inside a square. The dish measures 8 7/8 inches long including the tab handle. It is 3.75 inches wide. And about 1.5 inches high. The inside dimensions are 7.25 inches long and 3.25 inches wide. We found one chipped spot. Which is located to the left of the glare in our close-up photo. C. 1880-1900. The cruet has beautiful deep rose coloration in the glass cased over creamy white. Shades from rose to white and has a glossy finish. Applied amber glass handle and stopper with facet cut design. The cruet is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Offered is this lovely Early American Pattern Glass one-handled bowl or nappy with circular Sapphire Blue flashing on the blocks. This blue-stained bowl measures 5 inches from side toside(12.7 cm) and 5.25 inches from handle to front(13.3 cm) We believe this bowl was intended for serving olives. Pickles or other relishes This appears to be the Finecut and Block pattern which was made in 1891 by King Glass. The K factory of U.S. Glass in Pittsburgh. Fans encircle the rim of the bowl, with blue ovals below the fans. The company made this pattern in an extended table service, according to Mollie Helen McCain’s“Collector’s Encyclopedia of Pattern Glass. Besides the blue stained ovals on the blocks. Blue staining also appears on the round knobs or buttons that encircle the bottom of the bowl. Three rows of blue-stained knobs or buttons appear ... moreon the bottom of the bowl. This charming bowl is in very good condition for its years. No chips or cracks. Except on the tiny points around the outside edge, which show roughness in several places. Beautiful pink depression cramer. Measuring approximately 5 3/4" wide(with handle) by 3" tall. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs. However, there are a few very minor scratches, barely noticeable. The edges on the creamer are very smooth. Because of the scratches, I will begin the auction low and hope that you consider it fair. This pretty Old Carnival Amber Weave 2 Handle Glass Basket was once owned by my in-laws and comes from their estate. They were avid collectors in the 70’s& 80’s and enjoyed collecting and displaying their treasures in a dust proof cabinet and took pride in their passion of collecting. My in-laws bought a lot of glass baskets and you can see a portion of the items in our store plus see the picture we posted showing a display of one of the many cabinets my father-in-law built to display their collection. Set of Three Fire-King Ivory 1940's D Handle Flat Bottom Mugs. Excellent! This is a set of three ivory Fire-King D handle flat bottom mugs. Each has a nice. Glossy finish and excellent color. They stand 3 1/2" high with a 3 3/8" top circumference and a 2 3/4" bottom circumference. The bottoms are perfectly flat. The bottoms are marked: OVEN. Fire-King WARE Fire-King is in script. The mark would indicate they are from the mid to late 1940's. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition inside and out. The inside of one mug has a lighter vertical line and two spots where is appears the finish is dulled from rubbing or a soft scrape( Not sure. It's minor and towards the bottom half. The glossy finish around the perimeter of the bottoms show wear(see second to last pic) One mug has a scratch(see last pic) The top rims look ... morevery good.
