Antique late 1800, three faucet brass and nickel beer draft tower
Ornate and stunning detail. This late 1800s beer draft tower has 3 working ball joint faucets and disassembles for easy instalation. The markings on the back read, DEPOSE VDB, with crossed hopps and a star burst. It is a extrememly rare item and little information exists. The Budweiser archive executive from the St. Louis office searched for about a month and came up with nothing except that she believed it originated in Europe( most likely France) in the late 1800's. The ball joints were tested by a draft tower installer for integrity with air pressure and found all 3 faucets working great, without leaks. Would look great in a pub or someones mancave.

REALLY GREAT NICE BRASS ESTATE FIND- TWO BRASS BEER BAR CHICAGO BANNER TOWERS FAUCETS- Estate find- Two Vintage Brass Draft beer towers that originally were used in the bar of a Dog Race Track. I don't know much more about them. So I will do my best to describe them. I believe they are more than likely 100% Brass. They are not magnetic at all, and are very heavy. They are somewhat tarnished in some spots more than others. I did try a little Brass cleaner on the tops, that's why they are a little lighter on the top, and you will see some green residual cleaner left on them. I think they will need more Brass cleaner if you want them to truly shine them, however, I don't know how much it will effect them though, that will be your judgement call. I did buy from an estate where the owner told me they were used at a Dog Track. They ... moreare approx. 15" tall and are 5 3/4" at the base. There are 3 taps on each of them. All of the taps except one. Seem to be in working order…one of them seems loose at the connection to the tower. The top of each dispenser has the Hallmark BANNER CHICAGO on them. On the inside of one, there are 3 rubber hoses, and two copper looking hoses, and a styrofoam lining. On the inside of the other, there are 3 rubber tubes or hoses, and that is it, no two copper tubes or styrofoam. I purchased and completely refinished this draft tower with intentions of installing it into my bar. But changed plans as of now. Every faucet was hand polished and re-fitted with new o-rings and parts to achieve this ready to work tower. The original oak wood was sanded and refinished as well as was every single brass piece polished or replaced if missing or damaged. This item has been used and the hoses and connectors will have to be replaced. I do not have them. Otherwise this appears to be in great condition. The Budweiser tap handle is missing the top part. But that in no way affects the use. The Brass Column Tower is 3" in diameter x 12-1/4" tall. The Budweiser tap is 11" I have never used this item so I cannot speak as to how well it works. The item up for bid is a really nice pipe style draft beer tower.It does not have a maker name that i could find. I believe it has never been used but not 100% sure so i listed it as used.just in case! Everything inside and out looks to be new and never used as you can see in the pics. The only thing wrong that i can see is an idiot decided to see if it was brass under the chrome and took a grinder to the back side about 4" long as seen in the close up pic.I would just put a cool beer sticker over it and call it a day. There is also another spot on the vertical side tower pipe about an inch long that also has a grinder mark. Other than that and a few light scuffs and scratches it's beautiful.chrome looks awesome! There are no tubes inside just what you see in the pic where i removed one of the 3 valve sections units.
