Unusual Vintage Pyramid Lighted Display Case 2-PC Glass Wood Plaster PICKUP ONLY
I bought this unusual case many years ago. And used it in my house to display various pieces. It is 6' 4" tall, and 15" square. It comes apart as two pieces. The base is made out of heavy plaster, and the top is wood and glass, and mirror. The front and sides are glass, and the back is marbled mirror to reflect whatever sits inside it. There is an opening in base with a light bulb, and a glass square sits on top of opening making a shelf. The light illuminates whatever is sitting on glass shelf when plugged in. There are no other shelves inside. I used it to display tall skinny colored vases, tall Santas at Christmas, etc. As this item is large. These can be used alone or arranged in many configurations. One is 4 feet long and 3 are 3 feet long. They include some adjustable shelves for the bottom sections. Vintage Lighted Retail Store Fixture Glass Display Showcase Cabinet 72” x 20” x
Made by: Baker Store Equipment Corp. out of Cleveland. Ohio that was founded in 1956. This cabinet is estimated circa 1960's-70's. The base of the cabinet is made out of wood with the glass display showcase area having a metal frame. The metal is non- magnetic and appears to be aluminum with a brass type finish added. A new florescent bulb or lamp has been installed installed. The lamp is identified as a 38W 64” T6 CW Slimline. This showcase provides for maximum product exposure and display with a glass top. Sides and glass doors that move easily on the tracks. The electrical cord is exceptionally long at 15 feet allowing greater flexibility in being able to move the cabinet location around without the need for extension cords. Storage space located in the back of the cabinet that measures 5 1/2” tall x 72“ long. The 4” black trim ... morearound the base of the cabinet is black plastic laminate. Sitting on top of the base is a 5 1/2” decorative band made out of wood grain plastic laminate. The base of the cabinet is made out of wood. Two sliding glass doors are 1/4” thick in an aluminum frame. There are three wall standards with four 12” shelf brackets for the glass shelving that can be adjusted for height. Two pieces of glass measuring 45” x 16” and 34” x 16” included. The floor of the cabinet is a white speckled plastic laminate pattern that can be kept shiny and clean to help highlight the products on display. Pickup in Canal Fulton.
