I looked online to see how they work and the seem to work. I DO NOT know anything about theses units except my Dentist used it on me once. Kerr Demi Ultra LED Ultracapacitor Dental Curing Light NIB
This unit is like new- only tried it out for about a month and still under warranty from Kerr. This is a great light but we do a lot of ortho in our practice and the way it charges does not fit our needs. It does not use a battery but rather a high energy capacitor. It keeps enough charge for about twenty x 20 second cures. This is more than enough for restorative and my assistants really liked the angle of the handle and the feel. When bonding brackets. However, it usually needs a 40 second recharge about halfway through. Since we work out of 6 rooms, they didn't like having to go to the central area to recharge it when that happens. It comes with the box, manuals and all accessories. There are a few fingerprints on the handle, otherwise it's in perfect condition. MSRP is about $1,400 plus tax on these.
