Other crimping tools try to crimp both parts of the terminal to the wire and caused the terminal to get stuck in the tool, messing up the crimp. I prefer it to the official crimp tool for the KK series from Molex. Why? It's fast. Once you get the hang of this tool, you can really crank out KK contacts. the last picture is an actual KK contact I crimped with an AMP 169481-1) For KK contacts, I prefer to use it without the locator.
