Here is an Antique pocket volt meter from the Eldredge Electrical Mfg. Co. of Springfield. Mass. It has a patent date on it of Nov. 8, 1898. It has been put into a watch case and has a glass cover and metal back. It measures 2" in dia. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The case has a small dent in the back. It looks like it has tarnish spot on the back but it is a reflection on the photo. It measures D.C. voltage and the scale runs from 0 to 3 volts in.1 volt increments. It works OK. Once in awhile the needle sticks and you have to tap it. I think this would make a great addition to your collection of antique volt meters or use it measures the strength of your AA and D cells. The top is from highly figured maple. The back appears to be ash. The neck is from figured birdseye maple and is actually maple capped. The pickups appear to be Duncan Quarter Pounders. But there is no markings on their bottoms. ... moreThe pickups are stacked humbuckers and each has its own mini switch to change from single to humbucker. The neck pickup reads 6.62/12.5k, the middle, 6.76/12.69k, and the bridge 7.04/13.31k. The neck is nice and straight and is setup with jumbo frets. The action is nice and low. It is 1.67" at the nut and has a 25.5" scale. The neck has a shallow profile and plays flawlessly. It has an old school Kahler bridge and sperzels. One of the sperzels is missing its lock down screw. It has some minor dings and such from being played. But is in excellent condition. It weighs 8lb 11oz. Sorry no case. Will be well packed for a safe arrival. NO RESERVE. Aluminum Dead Stop Tail Piece. Chrome End Pin Jack. I make these guitars by hand in Escondido. California. I try to not make any compromise which would affect the sound or playability, and make every effort to keep the cost as low as possible. There are several features which make both of these goals a reality. The neck and fingerboard is made of a single piece of Merbau. Which is a tropical hardwood normally used for flooring and is quite a bit stiffer and harder than Maple or Mahogany. Since there is no separate fingerboard or skunk strip, the truss rod channel is drilled from the heel end of the neck. It is not easy to get a 24" drill bit to go where you want, but I have gotten pretty good at it. The neck is cut out with a jigsaw, shaped with a belt sander, and finished by hand. Frets are arch cut by hand and fret wire is set and finished by hand. I use a string guide and zero fret which allows the headstock to be in line with the neck. So it is the same piece of wood as the neck, with no gluing pieces back together, and very little waste. Having the neck and headstock and fingerboard all made out of the same piece of wood helps keep the cost down. But it also make

2009 Carl Thompson custom 6 string hand made ball scroll electric guitar Up for auction is a 2009 Carl Thompson ball scroll style electric guitar. Made by hand in Brooklyn. New York. One of the nicest guitars he's ever made, in my opinion. Not another exactly like it- though of course that's true of all his creations. It does share a somewhat similar vibe to a few guitars he made last year for Lou Reed(highly recommend checking those beauties out on Carl's You Tube channel) Features countless(well alright. Maybe not countless) laminates of rare. Exotic, and(and in the case of bloodwood and birdseye maple) extremely difficult woods to tame. Body core is mahogany, with top wing laminates of bocote and back wing laminates of bloodwood. The Bocote has gorgeous figure(including hidden smiley faces! and the bloodwood is an incredibly ... moreintense red- not at all oxidized. Other woods on the body include flamed maple, and a reddish brown wood for some accents(mahogany? Jet black ebony fingerboard with perfect frets affixed to a exquisitely figured birdseye maple neck(if you're into woodworking you know how rare this is for a neck stock and can appreciate how difficult this wood is to carve) Neck is bound with runners of the same reddish ochre colored accent laminates used on the body. Not totally sure of the species but the grain is mahogany-like. Pickups are both Kent Armstrong humbuckers. Two mini toggle switches; one is a three way pickup selector. And the other functions as a mute/ on/ high cut switch. Jack is mounted on one of Carls signature'football' carved jack plates. Tuners are hipshots and the bridge is a gold plated tuneamatic style. Tailpiece is one of Carls creation, built from two pieces of bocote and ebony affixed to a shaped brass plate and inlaid with two dots of mother of pearl. Truss rod functions perfectly. Roll it over your board to fill the deep gashes. Then sand it down once the wax cools to a smooth finish. Its an easy way to wax your board if you don't have the money to spend to get it done. Its easy to use. By removing the plug at the top, you could push in your beeswax. A heating element inside melts down the wax. It took about a half an hour to warm up. The original use of this tool was used by graphic designer. The waxer applied a thin layer of molten beeswax to the back of a piece of paper. We have had this phone for a long time downstairs in our storage cave. I dont know what make it is yet unless you may. Will look it over today and try to get a make, its old, dont know i f it works or broke or if it can be re paired. It makes a great piece for your home decor if it stays the way it is on a wall. And the shelf has what may or may not be factory slots cut into the shelf for some reason. This is an antique Western Electric 250W wooden wall phone with some bakelite parts. I am not an expert so please look very closely at the pictures. I do not know if it is in working condition but it appears as though all of the parts are there. There is no major damage(one small chip on the top left corner of the front wood piece) it appears to be in wonderful condition. There was a small bag of parts next to this phone when I bought it so I am including them but I am not sure if they are for this phone or not. Unique Antique Hand Made Brass on Copper Tea Kettle Electric Lamp
Antique. And very unique, Brass Plated Copper Tea Kettle that has been hand made into an electric lamp. This was a yard sale find and it could use some T.L.C. but works and looks great. Besides needing some pollishing& buffing, it has a few tea-looking stains on the left inside bottom of the shade as shown in picture#2. The stains are on the inside only and do not bleed through to the outside of the lamp shade. The left wooden handle is missing an end cap as shown in picture# 7. The Base has 5 cracks as shown in pictures#8. 9, 10. The soldering on the copper base plate to the base has been separated from the base but holds in place good and tight with the center lamp shaft nut as shown in picture#6. The lamp works well and stands nice and straight on the 4 Torchlight- claw feet(See Pics) The bottom of the kettle is stamped"MARK" ... morewith an emblem that I couldn't quite make out. After countless hours of work and artistic imagination Screaming Leaming has transformed this guitar into a one of a kind guitar. I'm not sure of all the accessories however this guitar plays and sounds excellent. Included is the custom fitting partly fibreglass guitar case that has plexiglass panels and a battery source with lights. It looks super showy in its case all lit up however it is difficult to capture on film. it makes the guitar with case rather heavy. You are bidding on a really cool piece. This is the 1960 Danelectro 4021 Hand Vibrato Electric Guitar. 25" scale. 1.66" nut width. 6.2 lbs. Pots are soldered over the date but looks to read'13760xx' The 4021 is one of the rarest Danectros of all time. Featuring an adjustable bridge tension spring- the 4021 was tremolo-ready(bar not included) Combine that with the dual lipstick single coils and you have the best of everything'Danelectro' All of that warm resonance with the high end mid of the single coils. The bridge position brings brilliant chords while the neck provides excellent warm cleans. Roll the tones back and the pickups darken up ... morebeautifully. The pickup selector here will need to be replaced at some point- occasionally it will engage the neck pickup when in'bridge' position. The neck here is very thin for a Dano- just.80" deep at the 5th fret with a C profile. The look here is perfect- black sparkle/white'tuxedo' finish. One ply'guard, and chrome hardware. This 4021 is in overall very good condition- small area of vinyl lifting(pic) as well as a repaired neck hairline(pic) very strong repair- plays like a dream. Just over 1/32" of relief at the 5th fret. It measures 23" from bottom to top edge The two hand painted globes are in very good condition with no cracks or chips that I can find. Color is still beautiful on them. This is a matching pair(2) very nice Antique Greek Key Hand Oil Lamps similar to those pictured on page 302 in Catherine M.V. Thuro's book"Oil Lamps The Kerosene Era in North America. They are fitted with nice No.1 electric converted brass burnersw/ 6 7/8 diameter shade rings.Please note that one of the upright chimney prongs is missing from one of the burners. These lamps are in very good condition. No chips, cracks, or breaks but there is some roughness around the base rim from many years of use.See pictures.
