Xerox Docucolor 242, 252, Others Fiery Auxiliary Access Remote Device
I used this for my Xerox remote copy meter but I just sold the Docucolor 242 and this is specific to that copier. My remote copy meter uses the 16 pin plug that is universal to all Xerox devices so I am keeping the meter. This was plugged into the EFI Fiery machine that was attached to the back of the copier. It may work on an external Fiery and other models like the Workcenter 7675 but I don't know. You can check to see if your machine has the port that looks like the second picture. I am not a copier technician so please don't expect me to know whether this will work with your copier or the access control device you are trying to use.
