He is dressed in frills and his best clothes and he is holding a cane. His look is just a bit apprehensive. The cardboard on which the photo is mounted has not been trimmed. The photographer's stamp is on the bottom center: Geo Kraft/319 7th Street. St. Paul, Minnesota. This photographer practiced at this address from 1890 to 1899. The back of the card is blank.
