Up for sale is a Hobart D-330 Stainless Steel Hook Brand new and a used Hobart D-340 Stainless Steel bowl. We got these from a local cooking school. Located here in Florida. When we went to pick them up one of the school maintence man told us that the bowl was used but the hook was never used as it was bought as a backup to their other hook that they used and they never had to replace it. They bought it with the intentions of a lifetime hook that would never need to be replaced but never had to use it. When we got these home we decided to call our local Hobart dealer and asked them about these and they told us that the stainless steel hook can be used with either the Hobart D-330 or D-340 and the bowl will only work with the Hobart D-340 mixer. Also. We asked him the price for this hook brand new and he believed the cost is between $700-$800 ... morefor just the hook, and the bowl costs between $800.00- $1200.00 new, they were very busy when I called so he could not give me an exact price. It measures 8.5" Inside diameter of collar where it will hook onto shaft of mixer is 1 1/4" The only identifier on this one is the following: 6/649 which is impressed into the shaft. Please view all pics to determine if the connections are what will fit your mixer. The beater is in good shape, shows some signs of use. Large whip beater measures 17.5" end to end. None of the wires are missing or damaged.
