SIDNEY Rare #12 Cast Iron Round Griddle W/Bailed Handle C.1888-1897 ExcCond
You are bidding on a rare antique SIDNEY#12 cast iron round griddle with a bailed handle in excellent condition. This griddle was made by the Sidney Hollow Ware Company of Sidney. Ohio sometime from 1888 to 1897 when the company was sold to the Wagner Manufacturing Company. The griddle sits flat on a flat surface and the cooking surface has a very slight downward bubble in the center. It shows very few signs of ever having been used with the original milling marks still plainly visible. There is no rust and there are no repairs, cracks, pits or chips. The cooking surface is 11" in diameter and the griddle weighs 4.5 pounds. The skillet has been thoroughly cleaned and lightly seasoned. And is ready to be used or displayed. VINTAGE FRIGIDAIRE FOOTED ALUMINUM GRIDDLE or FRY PAN W/ REMOVABLE STRAINER TOP
Here's a very vintage stove top or oven aluminum skillet from FRIGIDAIRE from many years ago. The skillet is very heavy. But the"strainer" on top is a lighter aluminum weight. You can use them together or just the skillet. The pan has and a slight drip bend on each side. It has three feet on the bottom and handles. The drip pan is full of holes and two little straight lines for juices or liquid to go through or for pizza or any other food that you might want to add a little moisture to. The pan is about 12" without including the handles. The drip plate is a little smaller- made to fit the pan nicely. This one is from about the 1940s or 50s by the Bersted MFG Co. Art Deco Perfect Art Deco for that Retro Kitchen Fostoria- Bersted Company built this beauty in Fostoria. Ohio. A no nonsense. Simple yet very usable sandwich or poured pancake baker. 10.25 x 5.75 cooking surface. No thermostat control. Nelson was known for their ability to make simple inexpensive products that still looked nice and worked well. Nice old Chrome with two wheat designs on top. There is a very small ding on the top and some starches top and bottom. Has some small rust spots on the bottom. But you have to look for them. The cord is a original cloth cord that looks almost new. This one is in good condition for its age. A very well made beautiful iron. This is an unique piece as it is a sandwich or other grill use product. Alfred Bersted started a small machine shop ... moreoperation in 1913 and began making small appliances. The Co. prospered after the war and he sold to McGraw Electric. Bersted attempted during the depression years to make his products noticable on store shelves by placing unusual designs on otherwise ordinary looking products. Her outfit and shoes are original and in very good condition. The snap on the back is loose& needs to be re-attached. The net trim is well attached. The applique decoration has a slight snag. The wire in the left leg must be broken, as that leg does not hold a bend. Her legs could use a cleaning. I don't see any green discoloring, but I haven't removed her clothes. Seven appliances in one with Intertek Multi grill. The pics show the interchangeable pieces for a grill. Toaster, and more. They snap in and out with ease and are easy to clean. The actual interchangeable parts are approx. 8.75 x 5.25. Some have not been used. They have a rack for storage which keeps them neat and organized. Good condition.Ready to use electric grill/griddle. Except as noted above and some very light scratches on grill plates,this appliance is in very good shape.It has been cleaned with mild soap and water.Upper grill plate could stand a tougher cleaning.All knobs work as intended and are easy to read.Nice feature is that the outside stays fairly cool when in operation.Broke off piece does not affect safety or operation at all.

It has been tested and works very well. Chromed metal body, black handles, adjustable cooking setting, 2 removable reverseable cooking plates with non-stick finish. It is not pristine. It has some surface scratches and some cooking stains around the outer edge and on the cooking plates. No dents. Dings, cracks or chips.
