There is a 3/4"x2" chip on the right corner and a stain in the sink basin itself(see photos) But a quick re-glazing job would fix both! Two holes 8" on center for wall mount type faucet. The back splash is 10" high.Overall dimensions are 42"L x 21"W(deep) The sink basin is 19"x16" at the top and 16"x13" inside at the bottom and 4 1/2" deep. This is a vintage cast iron. Porcelain-coated, farm sink still in very good condition. Some stains do remain from age, but can be cleaned with proper cleaning chemicals. This sink has one drain board, located on the left side of the sink. There are small imperfections around the hot and cold cutouts that most likely came during repairs to the hardware in the past. With drain valleys on top and reinforced ridges on bottom. Good condition. NO holes. NO burn marks, NO cracks. Lots of stains from use and age. Which may scrub off with a good cleaner. Scuffs on bottom. There is a 1” long chip on the rim of the left back corner. So place the drain mat on the right side of the sink and the chip won’t show. Drain edge is rough from wear. Up for sale is this 1930 double drain board"Standard" sink. The sink is approx 60" wide at widest by 22" front to back by 13 1/2" high. The backsplash is 12" and the lip is 1 1/2" The sink is 80+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of wear and tear. Sm nicks, chips, etc etc. There were a few cosmetic chips repaired here and there around the perimeter but all in all the sink is in very good condition overall. The faucet holes are 8" on center. Please see photos. I do my best with the photos I take so you can see exactly what you are getting. It's old.It was in my Great Grandmother's house that was built around 1917.It has some rust on the right side edge and a couple of spots in the basin& on the drain board have small chips.The rust around the chips will wash out.The edge has gone to far to wash it away. Antique Vintage Tin Aluminum Kitchen Dish Drain Drainer Base Board Pan Tray
This is a nice genuine vintage aluminum dish drainer tray from the 1940's- 1950's. A great conversation piece or an item to complete your vintage kitchen decor. The new modern plastic or rubber drain boards just don't have the same character as this one. This is one of several from my Grandma's kitchen at the fishing cabin in Ohio. It was used for many years in a warm kitchen after frying up fish and home cooked meals. Grandma took good care of everything she ever owned! The front end that hangs over the edge appears to have been slightly bent. As a small piece of wood was needed under the back end to allow water to drain. It has some minor water deposits. Rust marks, corrosion, scratches, and scuffs from normal use. It has a splotch of corrosion/discoloration on the back end. The bottom of the tray has minor pitting. All ... morethis could be cleaned up with some good aluminum polish. I am leaving it up to the buyer to clean and polish this, or keep the original patina. In great shape for it's age!
