This is an Original 1890's Old Green Painted Wooden Wash Tub in Good Original Condition. Measures about 23" in diameter at the top. 19" in diameter at the bottom, and 12" tall. Has the original wood and wire handles, bottom is hand chamfered. the metal rings are original. The boards are a tongue and groove construction. Antique 1920's Dexter Double Wood Barrel Tub Washing Washer Machine Old RARE
This is an Antique Dexter Belt Driven Washing Machine With Double Wooden Tubs From The 1910-1920's Era. I'm not exactly sure of the age of this machine. I found similar ones on a washing machine museum web site that were made by Dexter in 1910& 1917. It appears this machine was belt driven because of the pulley that is mounted on the back of it which means you hooked it up to a gasoline powered engine that drove the pulley and. Through gears, spun the agitators. It looks like one tank was used to wash and the other to rinse as they both have agitators. The wringer appears to be missing unless it didn't have one to begin with. This is a cool old machine and both wooden tubs hold water just fine. They also have valves that can be opened to empty them when you're done washing for the day. You might be able to get this to ... morework with a little oil and determination but I can't imagine using it. It would make a much better display and conversation piece. Poole Silver Co. 2200 Tub / Bucket
This is a unique"bowl" I call it a bowl but it really looks like an old fashioned wash tub. I don't know what it is actually for but I would guess it was a floral centerpiece or something of that nature was either glued or secured in the inside. It is silver plated and shines up really nice. But as you can see the silver isn't worn off. It is slightly scratched and gouged on the inside( I showed in in the pictures) It is also a little pitted along the edge of the top outside near one of the handles(I showed that in a seperate picture) The handles on this bowl might have been added later because the little"tub" is sort of plain and rustic(as rustic as silver can be) but the little handles seem like fancy swirls. This bowl is 6" round at the top and tapers down to 5 1/4" at the bottom. It stands 3" ... moredeep plus the 1/2" higher for each handle. The little decorative rim on the top and the bottom are molded right into the"tub" but it looks like it is riveted like a band on a wood barrel. All in all this is a really cute little bowl for a table and would look nice filled with fruit or candy. I've enjoyed it for a long time. I have looked high and low on ebay and the internet in general and don't find anything like this"tub" The imprinting on the bottom of this piece says"Poole Silver Co. Antique Vintage 'Chase' Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1930's
Here is a very cool and unique old complete'Chase' tub overflow/drain assembly. This was removed from a home that was built in the 1930's. This has an internal stopper. And it's controlled by a lever that moves from side to side. All components are brass. Both the drain flange and strainer have lost most of their plating. But the strainer has a very unique design that I've never seen before(very Deco) The waste shoe has some dings on it from removal, but it is not cracked or distorted(pic 12) The overflow cover plate houses the lever. And both are fairly scratched/scuffed from years of cleaning. The lever itself does have some dings and there is one small gouge on the overflow cover plate(pics 4-8) The action on the lever is nice and smooth, there looks to be a spring-loaded pin that runs against a guide to give it a little ... morebit of drag. It just feels well-made! The set will be broken down into components for shipment. There are no rubber gaskets included. And I would also recommend replacing the packing at all of the compression joints. Dimensions are: Distance from center of drain(waste shoe) to center of overflow pipe is approx. 6 1/2" Distance from center of overflow to center of waste union'T' is approx. 13 1/2" Thanks for looking. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Faucet with Spout 1920's
Here is a nice old'Standar d' tub valve and spout. This was removed from a 19 20's-era home. The handles appear to be replacements(probably 1940's or so) The ori ginals would have been porcelain cross-handle pieces. The spout has a porcelain escutcheon and a trim ring with set screw that keeps it tight to the wall. The finish on the spout. And original trim are more like a nickel color, while the finish on the handles is more like a bright chrome. All of the porcelain pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There are a few small spots of discoloration but overall they are very nice. The handles have scratched/gouged caps. But they are fairly clean with good shine. They are cast zinc. Both stems open and close freely. The stems and escutcheon ferrules are slightly scuffed with spots of missing plating, see photos ... morefor condition. The spout has mis sing plating all over. As well as some gouges and scratches here and there. The brass nipple will remain in the spout. I' ll leave the choice of removing it up to yo u. All of the shiny bits on this faucet would benefit from a re-plate. But you could certainly use as is if you don't mind lots of patina! The original cast iron mou nting bracket i s included. Antique Eagle claw and ball adjustable cast iron tub feet all 4 nice!
UP for your concideration I have listed for auction: A set of 4 Cast Iron Ealgle Claw adjustable feet for a cast iron tub. These are perfect for cast iron tub restoration/replaceing old ones.I'm not sure if these will fit all cast iron tubs or not.I will leave this up to the experts. They are in pretty good solid shape but will need some elbow grease to clean. Chipped paint and rust.They have NO cracks in the cast iron and NONE of them are rusted through.The balls on the bottem adjust to height.pretty nice as I never saw tub feet that adjust before. The hardware is all there as well however, they will need to be freed up as the nuts are rusted to the screws and one of the screws is a little bent.A person could buy new screws cheep enough at their local hardware store if these wont work. the main thing is they are all there.They measure ... more7' tall with the adjusted foot at its shortest, and 6' wide at the top and 4' wide on the botton which is the eagle claw. SET OF 4 VINTAGE ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE CAST IRON CLAW & BALL FEET FOR BATH TUB
All four of these cast iron feet are good& solid no chips. Dings, nicks, gouges, splits or cracks showing several coats of paint measuring 6" wide x 7 1/2" tall x 6" thick including 2" x 3" flange/bracket on back to attache feet to cast iron tub all identical. There is a mark of some numbers& letters on backside of all of them but cannot make out due to the layers of paint. Top of feet are embossed with raised ornate design complete with clenched talon/claw around cast iron balls. Ready to be cleaned up to refurbish that old bath tub missing it's feet.
