This all glass Midget Washer is from the early 20th century. Pre-1950. This was probably designed for cleaning small items such as lingerie. There are different textures on the front and back of the board. This washboard measures 8 3.4" by 6 1/8" and is approx 3/8" thick. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, great for use or display. The method of construction produced some unique characteristics: a distinctive seam around the edge and around the textured area on the back of the board from the glass pressing, as well as air bubbles in the glass.
