Native American Ancient Stone Medicine Tube Pipe This is an awesome stone tube pipe recovered from the Oregon Coast in 1962. Tube pipes are the earliest known pipes of the North American Indians. Some were used for smoking. While others were used as Shaman's Paraphernalia. Shaman used tube pipes in several different ways for medicinal purposes. Tube pipes were sometimes smoked with stems or wrapped with hide or vegetation to protect the hands from burning. This piece is in good condition except for some chipping on the edges of both ends and a bit of erosion. This pipe has a beautiful patina and measures 2 5/8 inches long and tapers from 1/2 of an inch to 1 1/4 inches at the widest point. Please check the pictures. They are worth a thousand words. Awesome Native American Very Large Ancient Stone Peace Pipe This is an awesome ancient stone peace pipe from a collection in Florida. I do not know where it was recovered. But it is obviously ancient with fire blackened drilling and a gorgeous patina. This piece is awesome, it does have some nicks around the edge of the bowl and one or two around the stem hole. There is some minor erosion and pitting, which is all to be expected for the age. You will not be disappointed with this excellent piece. This is a beautiful pair of serving spoons made by Tiffany& Co with the'M' mark used between 1873- 1891. The spoons are of superb quality with large shell bowls and lovely chased stems and finials with leaves. Flowers and berries against a textured background. The spoons have leaves and twisting stems to the underside also. The spoons are 2-5/8 inches/ 66 mm wide across the bowls and they are 9-1/4 inches/ 234 mm long. Made of thick gauge silver. You are bidding on an Antique carpet/rug possibly native american-excellent cond. vivid colors/pattern. This rug was purchased at an old antique shop in northern door county. I was told it was native american but I don't know anything about that so I will start the bidding at a reasonable rate for such a stunning rug. The colors are bright but when you zoom in for close up you can see the wongerful aging process the rug has gone through. It was obviously cared for and there were no fold lines so I'm thinking it was a wall hanger. Because of the age& value. The last two pics are to show what I mean by a one-sided rug. The reverse or back has obvious signs of handstitching and wouldn't be to display. The rug has been preserved so well it could be on the floor in a low traffic area. WILLETS TRENTON NEW JERSEY FLORAL MOTIF AMERICAN ART POTTERY PITCHER 1879+ Exlnt
Up for auction is an Antique. Marked, Willets Manufacturing Company of Trenton, New Jersey(Pottery& Porcelain Circa 1879 to 1909) Semi-Porcelain Table Pitcher Referred to as Ironstone, Graniteware or Decorative American Whiteware with an In-Mold Decorative Pattern of Leaves and Scrolls and a Decorative Transferware Pattern of Pink Carnations and/ or Roses Plus Other Colored Florals which is in"Excellent" Used Condition, Circa 1879 to 1909 making this Pitcher around 104 to 134 Years Old. This superb"Willets" table pitcher has no chips. Cracks, scratches, scuffs or repairs of any kind. It's in excellent used condition for its age and has just a few minor post factory flaws and one factory flaw. I'll start with the factory flaw and you can view it close up in picture 12. The pitcher is upside down so you're ... moreseeing the inside top of the handle. You can see an obvious seperation, but this isn't a crack in the clay! This flaw is merely a seperation in the glaze. This occurred during a kiln firing and most likely excess moisture was still in the clay at this area or another type of contamination via one of the employees that handled this piece. Usually it's excess moisture and after this pitcher is removed from its mold it has to sit in its"bisque state" for several days while it drys out. If any moisture is still within the clay when the manufacturing process moves forward and it's not detected some type of glaze mishap will happen in the kiln where the moisture was located. A factory flaw glaze seperation like this would also be more than likely considered acceptable by the Willets pottery and put into the retail market. I've been buying, collecting and selling all kinds of ceramics for over a decade now and I guarantee the seperation line in this handle is only within the glaze and not the clay body itself. As far has issues go from age there is some very faint glaze crazing near the bottom in one small area and it's so faint the lines won't show u

The condition of this piece is excellent. There are no chips and no cracks and the piece has not been ground. The glass has a slightly purplish tint. I have another one of these goblets.
