Included is one teapot, one creamer and one sugar pot with a lid. The set has a beautiful Repousse design, matching thumb rests, floral design elements and matching finials. The total weight for the set is 68 oz. T. This set appears to be hand hammered. Overall the set is in excellent condition but does show signs of age and use with some small dings and dents. TEAPOT- The teapot measures 9 ½” high. Has a base diameter of 5 ½” and measures 11” across from the spout to handle. The hinged lid on the teapot is decorated with a three dimensional finial ... morethat has been damaged however it still works properly(the hinge is not loose and does not stick) The handle has ivory head stops and a leaf and scrolling design with a small dent. The teapot weighs 33.6 Troy ounces and is marked on the bottom of the applied footed base“J.B.JONES” CREAMER-The creamer measures 6 1/8” to the highest point on the handle. Hand Made American Country Rocker Circa 1870
Probably this rocker is far earlier than the date in the heading. It comes from northern Minnesota where many immigrants came from Scandinavian countries. Some of their craftsmen emulated American styles yet here we see their influence also. Note the splay of the legs. Which manifests how a chair became a rocker thus a rocking-chair. The ladder backs cross members are quaintly hand carved and, charmingly, one post is taller than the other with variances to the elongated acorn finials. This chair was probably refinished in the mid twentieth century and its rush seat was replaced and is done very well. For those who like to recognize with a warm heart how people lived and sweetly built their own furniture in America’s earlier times, this rocker is a honey. 1938 WORLD CRUISE BOOKLET S.S. RELIANCE HAMBURG AMERICAN LINE BURNT AUG 7 1938
I am sure this is a very Rare item in the History of the World. This ship started out about World War I in the hands of Holland, finally in American Hands and renamed her S.S. Reliance, The Hamburg-Amertican line printed this 20 page Booklet in 1937 for a World Cruise in 1938 beginning in New York on January 9, 1938 and ending up in New York on the 24th of May, 1938 This Booklet shows the Route and Pics of all the things to see, with many side trips. I assume this World Cruise was made and was successful, but that was probably her last voyage because the S.S. Reliance burnt in Hamburg Germany on the 7th of August in 1938, sold as Scrap to the Krupp Co. and I'm sure made into weapons. This is a fantastic and a Historical Booklet. I found this at an old Estate Sale, the family must of had Money in 1938.

This was one of the first basses to have the S-1 switch installed that made the pickup go from series to parallel giving it a brighter sound. I never really use the switch much. But it is another tonal option. Guitar has been gigged out a couple dozen times and shows some scratches in the finish on the back. I tried to capture them as best as I could in the pics. This is by no means a mint bass- I would probably rate it as very good condition Pickguard has been repaired where the output jack is mounted- I was going to replace the pickguard. These bottles are in four authentic shapes used by glass makers during the American Colonial Period and are colored in ruby red. Blue amber, nut brown, evergreen, and heather. On the back is a star burst with 13 stars. This vintage volume is"History 1933-1946. The Florida State Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Vol. II" compiled by the Committee on Publication and published March 1, 1946. Contents include achievements. Florida chapters, Children of the American Revolution and a membership roster. The hardcover volume measures 6 1/4 by 9 1/4 inches and contains 325 pages on coated stock. It is illustrated with photographs. The boards are medium blue cloth with gilt lettering on the front and spine. The front board and spine show sunning and age darkening.
