One vintage EMG-81 active guitar pickup and wiring. This came out of a 86 Kramer Baretta I was working on. Pickup works great. This setup has 1 volume pot. 1 tone pot, and some kind of tone circuit that I am not familiar with on it. It uses the toggle switch you see in the picture. I left it intact in case the purchaser wishes to use it. Screws and springs are included with pickup. The only thing missing from this setup is a stereo input jack and a 9V battery. the box and paperwork in the pictures are included but come from a modern emg-81 with quick disconnect plugs. All color codes in the wiring diagram are the same, just no quick disconnect plugs on this pickup. Fender / Warmoth Fretless Jazz Bass - Early 90's neck and KOA Body - EMG Pickups
Up for sale is a really nice Fender/Warmoth Fretless Jazz bass. Here's the details: Neck UPDATE! This neck is NOT from 80’s Fender American Fretless Jazz. It is actually a Warmoth neck- updated pictures are included with the neck off. The fit between the neck and the body is great. very tight pocket. I took off the neck after I was tipped off by someone who is a little more familiar with these necks than I am. And turns out the neck is a Warmoth as well. Tuners are great, although the neck did have different tuners on it prior to my possession and you can see where the old holes were(1 extra hole per tuner- close to edge, see pics) Neck has some very nice birds eye pattern in the maple- very very nice neck. Body: Warmoth. Koa topped, appears to be solid Mahogany for the rest of the body. Great tone, well finished, a few scratches can ... morebe seen but they are all very superficial. The finish on this body is fairly thick and the scratches could be buffed out extremely easy. If that's a deal breaker, I can have it done. Check out the pictures- I showed all the scratches as well as detail of the body showing the transition from the top wood to body. Pickups: EMG Active. Sound great. A lot more versatile than I expected out of the EMG's- You can get the standard Jazz bass sounds you expect from a good Fender J-bass. But also pull out sounds that are much"hotter" than the typical Jazz bass would be capable of. I was pleasantly surprised. Case: Extremely nice. High-quality flight case. I don't see any names anywhere, but it's extremely solid. Guarantee you won't be disappointed.

And were manufactured at the famous Fuji-Gen factory in Japan(FujiGen has made some of the best guitars on the planet) They were made only in 1999-2000, so they are very rare and desirable. S1520’s are very light and super fast to play, and are an absolute shredder’s delight. Adding to the extreme vibe, the original pickups have been switched out for active EMG’s. They sound absolutely fantastic. You really can’t beat them for consistently thrilling tone. It also features a low profile(Lo Pro) ... moreFloyd Rose tremolo system. This guitar has the added bonus of having been owned by a guitar tech who has worked and toured with some of the biggest names in music. 2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic with case and EMG 81 85
Up for sale is a used Gibson Les Paul Classic. It has been lightly used previously. But has been stored(climate controlled) for the last 5+ years. This guitar was taken as collateral on a loan to the previous owner, who failed to pay his debt. This is the reason for the long term storage. The guitar was brought out of storage back in October, and then sent to my local luthier for cleaning, a setup with new strings, and verification of proper wiring of the EMGs. EMG 81/85 ZAKK WYLDE PICKUP SET
You're bidding on a used set of EMG pickups. Included in the auction is an 81 and 85 pickup w/ quik-connect. Quik-connect wiring harness, and I'm throwing in a new 9v battery. I had them installed in a Gibson Explorer so as you can see there is a lot of wire left since its a huge guitar. The only things that are quik-connect are the pickups themselves as i had them installed at a music store and i guess they decided to keep what they didn't install. These pickups are nice as they're basically one giant pole piece and can be put in the bridge neck or middle(if you're one of those folks) The quik-connect also allows an easy swap from bridge neck middle, what have you. I had the 81 in the neck due to the higher output as I use that pickup for more leads than rhythm, and the 85 in the bridge for the added midrange. Rarely played in my smoke free environment since I bought it a couple of years ago. She is a Beautiful looking and sounding Gibson! Neck is straight and very little fret wear. The guitar has a Transparent Blue finish that allows wood grain to show through(see pics) The guitar finish has some light swirling from a polishing cloth only visible under right lighting conditions and viewing at an angle. This guitar was made for Joel of Killswitch Engage and traveled to Europe and around the states with the band as a backup to his Caparison guitars. Kramer Forum IV Bass, Neck Thru, EMG Active Pickups
I bought this bass in 1989 at Manny's Music in New York City. And played it for about two years, at which point I switched to upright and never touched it again. I've been looking around on line for information about this bass. But what I've found doesn't square. This is definitely neck-through, unlike the few Forum IVs photographed online. If any Kramer enthusiasts can shed some light on the date and origin of this instrument, please let me know. The serial number is 006269(no letter prefix. Stamped in to the headstock) but I can't find any information via that channel. Please let me know if you have any questions. I suspect that this is a relatively rare. Possibly custom, Japanese Kramer assembled in the US in the late 1980s, just before they folded. I can tell you that it has excellent, low action, and plays like a ... moreguitar. The pickups and tone controls allow for a wide range of sounds and styles, and the tuning machines are tight and accurate. Certainly the strings should be changed, after sitting around for so long. All in all. A great instrument. I encourage prospective buyers to look around on the Kramer boards to try to find more information. Auction includes a gig bag. Beautiful guitar. Sounds good and plays well. 22 frets basswood body, maple neck rosewood fretboard. EMG pickups 1 volume 1tone 3way switch, standard tremolo, but the saddles are babicz( just so we're clear it is not a babicz tremolo, just the saddles) also has grover locking tuners and an earvana compensated nut. The guitar is being sold as USED because it is a completed custom kit.
