Eastman El Rey 2 D'Ambrosio Guitar
You are bidding on a very well used Otto D'Ambrosio El Rey Guitar. I am not its first owner. If I had a guess I would say I'm its 4th at least. It plays great but it has multiple dings and srcatches which I tried to show in the pictures. In particular there are scratches on the top under the high E string and around the cutaway. There are also some pretty heavy dings in the back. It plays great however. If you've never played one it has a very slim and wide neck and which reminds me of a Parker Fly if you have ever played one of those. It's tone in my opinion guitar reminds me of a John Scofield kind of guitar without the f holes which lower some of the feedback. It would excel at that sort of dirtier bluesy jazz tone. As a straight jazz guitar it has a tendency to be very dark sounding. If you don't mind the scratches ... morethis thing sounds awesome and has a lot character. Buyer pays shipping. Eastman Strings 905 VL905 Top of the line 4/4 violin- label dated 2003
I am selling my beautiful 2003 Eastman Strings 905 violin to fund a new $10.000.00 custom made violin. This violin has served me very well and comes from a smoke free home. It is in very good condition with no issues or repairs. This was Eastman's top of the line for many years. It has a new set of Evah Pirazzi strings on it which sound nice on this violin. The tone is wonderful and it plays very nicely. The violin has very minor finish scratches typical for a 10 year old violin. Please see pictures. Here is a Youtube of a 1995 model 905. Eastman Bowlback Mandolin - new
We have one Bowlback mandolin made by the Eastman Company purchased in 2010. These are hard to find in the U.S. and the list price is apparently. The one we have left was used for lessons and some demonstrations for around a year but is essentially unmarked. These mandolins both have rosewood bowls made of 27 smaller and 2 larger ribs. The spruce top has a black binding and a black string guard. A fake-tortoiseshell pickguard is embedded in the top. The wood used in the neck and head is of particularly find quality. A strip of black carbon fiber runs down the center emphasizing the V-shaped neck cross section. The length of the vibrating string is 13 1/4 inches. I am a professional cellist and I no longer use this cello on a regular basis. It had one owner before myself and is perfect for an intermediate to advance level student. This cello is very easy to play. Especially double stops and chords, and has a lovely even tone. Up for auction is a barely used Eastman MD 504 mandolin in like new condition. I purchased this mandolin new about six months ago but didn't play it so I have decided to sell it. Up for Auction a small Eastman Kodak Anastigmat f6.3 105mm lens Shutter. I know nothing about how to tell condition. The lens does have a small nick or scratch in the middle of the front glass. I can feel it when I run my finger nail gently over it. I tried to show in 3rd picture but not sure it shows very well. The shutter seems to be smooth and the iris opens and closes smoothly. 22351 is on the lens. I am selling as is. I have alot of photography items I will putting on that belonged to my Dad. One of the many things he did was camera repair in the 50's and early 60's so he has alot of pieces of things. I will be putting items on as I go through and try to identify. Up for bid: A pre-1930 wooden Eastman Kodak View#2(improved model of the Century View& Empire State#2) camera. This is an old wood and brass camera with an attached bellows that was manufactured by the Folmer Graflex Corp. The Wollensak Optical Co. lens is about 2" in diameter. The unit is missing at least one adjustment knob& a few other pieces of hardware but it does have a Multi Back Attachment for different angles. The bellows appear okay. The wooden rack that they travel on has some edging chipped off. This unit is about 20" long. 17" tall and 16" wide with its' Multi Back accessory. The unit needs restoration to the finish and a little oil on the track& knobs. It would appear that it can be fully restored with only a few parts! Also. DESCRIPTION: Old wooden Eastman Kodak Folmer& Schwing Division#2 large format camera. This is an old wood and brass camera with an attached bellows. It is in pretty good shape for its' age. The aperture which is functioning is adjusted by a tiny knob on the lens body. The lens is about 2 ½ inches in diameter. The unit is missing at least one adjustment knob and possibly a few other pieces of hardware that may be available from a good vintage camera dealer. The Kodak plates with the model number. Etc. are legible but there is a lot of patina. The bellows appear okay with no cracks we noticed. The wooden rack that the bellows travels along has some edge chips to the wood in one area but it shouldn't affect use from what we can tell. The unit is about 18 inches long(might actually get longer when bellows is fully extended) 14 ... moreinches tall and 12 inches wide. The 520GS model portrayed on the manufacturer's website does not have the sunburst engraving on the bell or the Amado style water valves. This one does. New retail price is about 1200.00 USD. The original artificial shell inserts were replaced with real Paua shell buttons. Also includes a Vincent Bach 3C gold plated mouthpiece. Comes in a backpack style case with two carrying handles. Hardly any imperfections such as tiny scratches. There is a tiny dent on the bell but it is so small that you can't see it in the photos. I bought this guitar last September. It has played in really nicely; yielding rich full. Loud and complex tonal qualities. The sitka spruce top is beautiful, with a nice warm, slightly vintage tint to it. It is pretty much in mint condition with the exception of a couple of tiny dings on the top(see pic) and a couple of small scratches from the winder while re-stringing on the headstock(see pic) I had a pickguard on it until the last couple of weeks, and there are some faint scratches in that area from my fingernails resting there(not pick) Overall a beautiful guitar with amazing wood, an amazingly resonant top(with incredible sustain) and gorgeous herringbone purfling. This is a really beautiful 4/4 size cello! Eastman VC305 made in 2004. This is a solid wood cello. Not a student grade instrument. This came from a high school band room, so it wasn't tenderly cared for. There are scratches and chips. There is a crack repair on the bottom as you can see in the pictures. The repair is solid, but not the prettiest I've seen. This was a very pricey cello when new, and it is still very solid and has a lot of life left. This is in practically new condition. I bought it last year from the Mandolin Store. I've used it at home and played one gig with it. I play guitar and thought I'd give it a try but it's not getting much use. It has an LR Baggs Radius M Mandolin pickup professional installed internally. The pickup itself goes for about $130.00 plus installation but it's included with this sale. There are some very mild signs of use but absolutely no issues. No cracks or chips or fret buzz or fret wear. It's been kept in the room where I keep all my guitars with proper humidification and a smoke free home. It's got elixir mandolin strings on it but I'm starting to think they may sound too bright on it. I'm steering away from elixir on guitars as well. A little tinny sounding for me. Anyway.
