Antique Raimann Bandsaw! Turn of the Century! CAST IRON!! Very Durable Machine!!
Hello. Up for sale is an antique bandsaw(i believe) that has been in my family for a long time. This was my grandfather's bandsaw which he had in his workshop for a number of years(he made custom furnature and was a master craftsman) I am not sure of the machine's age, however from its apperance and the way it was bulit, it looks to be something from the turn of the century. The brand is"Raimann" which i think is German, Raimann also fabricates other large machines that have large industrial and commercial uses. I was not able to find any other information or picutures of a this model, or anything like it from its time period. The material cast iron, it is solid and very, very heavy. It has no rust, the orange in the picuture is very old saw dust and accumulaton of dust over the years. I no longer have a use for this machine ... moreanymore, my grandfather passed away 15 years ago. I believe all the parts to make this machine run are present, the way it works is to attach the wheels on the top and bottom, and as those spin it works the blade which you can use to cut pretty much ANYTHING. My grandfather used this to cut many large pieces of wood, and solid logs, etc. This machine would be perfect for any woodworker in need for a bandsaw or saw mill type machine, for any purpose. In my opinion this is a piece of history and a durable piece of machinery that was engineered to be durable and last a lifetime! This machine is located at my home in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, if you would like to purchase it or send me any type of offer, i will gladly consider it, you can even stop by to check it out anytime, just send me a message. Little Champ HV-1 Metal Cutting Bandsaw Parts Blade Wheel& Shaft by DoALL This listing is for a Little Champ HV-1 Metal Cutting Bandsaw Parts- Blade Wheel& Shaft with 5/8" bore bushed down to 1/2" and 7 1/2" Diameter plus shaft assembly- as shown in the photos. There are some numbers as follows: 503403 Idler and some other numbers I can't read but may be the same as those on the driver blade wheel listed separately(but the bore diameter is different from the driver wheel. The tool I took this off of was a Little Champ HV-1. But it may have been built by DoALL from what I could find online. This tool may have been used to cut rebar on site because it has some white stuff on it. Rockwell 14" Bandsaw
Hello! Up for auction is a fully reconditioned Rockwell International 14" band saw. According to the S/N LE-1249. It was manufactured in 1982. I have completely tore it down, cleaned all parts, replaced anything that needed replacing, upgraded the drive wheels, rebuilt and lubed all moving parts. The top has been polished and waxed. The motor is a newer Dayton 1/2 HP, single phase. The saw comes with a 3/8" used blade. And it ready for use, just plug it in and go! Parts replaced include: 1. New tension spring 2. New Carter urethane tires 3. New PowerTwist Plus Link Belt 4. New upper guide bracket 5. Upgraded the drive wheels to 4" drive and 8" driven(as suggested by Mark Duginske in Mastering Woodworking Machinery) 6.
